The 3 howlers

The Living Force
So I think I need help interpreting a dream I had last night. I get the feeling that it means something important although I can't quite put my finger on it. Although I guess it could just be a random dream, however, this is third out of three consecutive dreams (all three of them being different) that I've had the past few nights. And before that, I was really sick and had to stay home for three days last week which is unusual for me. But that I will explain in another thread.

I am in a field with a big clearing of really green grass bordered by dense woods. The woods themselves were dark but not scary and it was filled with massively tall evergreen trees. It is night and really dark but I can see everything with a strange clarity. Either the moon was full or I had night vision as everything had a soft white glow to it. I think the point here is that my perception of the scene was not normal.

My vantage point was slightly off-center from the middle of the clearing with a view of the grassy meadow on my left and the tree line on my right. There was only a sliver of night sky visible at the top my field of vision so that kind gives you an idea that I was looking straight out instead of slightly up. I remember it being really peaceful and quiet with the only sound being that of a strong breeze rustling the trees and grass. I closed my eyes for a few seconds to take in the physical and auditory sensation as the wind blew through the woods and across my body. Or, it could have even been that the wind blew through my body and across the woods. I dunno. In any case, there was a sense of beauty and wonder.

Then, I opened my eyes as a golden retriever type dog ran out of the woods, made a half circle maneuver and took what I could only interpret as a power stance (it was in between standing and sitting, similar to a squat) and began howling loudly at the sky. I feel like the route it took requires explanation because it was very specific. It took the form of a half-circle/spiral shape. So it ran out of the woods towards me then veered off to his left while rounding the path out until it made small spiral ending at a center point to strike its pose.

The howl was long and penetrating I could feel it in my chest so there was some connection there as the dog was howling I could feel it reverberating through my body. So in a sense I was doing more than just hearing it; I could feel it as well. After the howl ended I was just standing there in awe, It was beautiful but I didn't know why consciously. Then suddenly, as I was standing there still trying to take in what I had just seen, a second dog which was a German Shepherd, ran out of the woods making the same pattern before reaching its "power-stance". It was situated maybe ten feet away from the first dog with both of their positions situated in a way that made a straight line to where I was standing with the first dog being the furthest away from me and the second positioned in between the first dog and my own location. Then they began to howl in tandem.

This again caused me to just think OMG :wow: this is amazing. I can't really explain the feeling in words but I do know that the second howl was more intense than the first. Finally, following the end of the second howl, a third canine came running out of the woods. At this point, I noticed that it was, in fact, a full-blown wolf much larger than the other two dogs. It runs out making the same spiral albeit a bit smaller and tighter since it was closer to me relative to the other two and they all commenced to a third howl.

On this third and final howl, it was so powerful I felt as though I couldn't contain all of the awesomeness and I woke up wide-eyed with the same feelings of excitement at experiencing some kind of rare scene.

There was a difference with the third howl. When all three of them were howling together everything became brighter than it was prior to that point. It was almost as if lightening had struck simultaneously as the three of them tilted their heads back to let out the final call.

As a short note, I did get a notification that the crystals I ordered were on their way last week. I wonder if they can have some kind of non-local effect even if they are not in your immediate vicinity but have been programmed for you specifically?

Here is a possible interpretation, though I'm not sure how exact it is or may be. Just reflect on it and see if it resonates with you. For me it sounds like a strong wake-up call.

German Shepherd

German shepherds are fiercely loyal, gentle companions, and protectors. When a German shepherd visits your dreams it can mean you are on high alert to something that is not right in your world. He reminds to follow your instincts, and use courage and wisdom to get to the truth. You are fully supported no matter what you decide to do.

When your dream is of training a German shepherd, it can symbolize you have an open mind but sometimes you believe in others too easily. Be more alert to the truth in what others tell you. Take the time to watch and listen before passing judgement. Who tells tall tales? What or who is hard to believe?

A German shepherd that bites you in your dreams, may mean your guard is down and others may try to take advantage of you in this situation. This dog comes to remind you to be more alert.

A German shepherd attacking you can symbolize you are under attack from others or a situation. If the dog is attacking someone in your dream, it can mean you are attacking others.

The German Shepherd is considered to be one of the most trustworthy and loyal dogs. These dogs are fiercely loyal to a fault. No matter what their master does, they will see no wrong.

Seeing a Germany Shepherd in your dream can indicate a fierce sense of loyalty that you have to the people around you. It means that you are trustworthy and can always be counted on to be there when others need you.

If you are training a German Shepherd it can indicate that you are looking to find another direction in your life.

When German Shepherd crosses your Path

German Shepherd crosses your path to remind you are not alone. Remember those you care about support you no matter what path you choose. They are always there when you feel alone or unsupported.

From thedreamwell.com:

Interpreting what animals mean in our dreams is a very personal process, but some animals can create such strong impressions they may seem to overwhelm our logic. This can be a good time to step back and try to understand the animal as a symbol before we go the next step of applying our own personal layer of interpretation.

One animal that is often a such of such confusion and power is the wolf. Feared, worshiped, maligned, misunderstood and revered, the wolf is a potent symbol through-out much of Europe and North America, and now thanks to cultural diversity, through much of the world. Wolves star in folklore and fairy-tales from many generations ago, and still capture our imagination through popular films and television today.

A wolf in a dream may be scary, threatening and vicious, she may be noble, protecting and wise, or maybe something else entirely – mysterious, elusive, wild. To understand the meaning of a Wolf in dreams, we can start by understanding the wild nature of these animals, and the very attitudes that society has to them can reveal much about our own wild selves.

Wolves in dreams can represent all that is wild and “uncivilised” about ourselves. This can be a scary thing to confront. What is wild is what our polite and safe day-to-day behaviour does not want to let out – what is wild can damage, hurt and upset. But what is wild can also free, excite and release. Wild can be untamed and bad mannered, but wild can also be pure and uncorrupted. Sometimes a wolf in a dream will be guiding us to find our true, authentic nature that we are afraid to reveal as we try to conform, but sometimes a wolf dream will be a warning that we are behaving too wildly, that we may be threatening something else that is important to us.

The behaviour of wolves in their native environments can give us clues as to why we might be dreaming about them. Do you long to feel part of a group, or seek the support and kindred spirit of a pack? Do you feel a need to protect something that is important to you, and need the fierceness of a wolf mother? Do you need to approach a situation carefully, using the stealth of a wolf to get close without being discovered? Do you feel a need to express your true self more freely, let go of inhibitions and howl at the moon?

Looking at the role wolves play in fiction, folklore and films may also give us insight as to what the wolf means in our own personal dream. The mythical She-Wolf who nurtured Romulus and Remus, the founders of Rome, as well as Mowgli from the Jungle Book, can help us understand how wolves in our dream can be a sign of us seeking or offering nurturing, care and protection to a part our selves or someone else. The Big Bad Wolf in “Little Red Riding Hood” may be sign of our own wild nature, or it may symbolise a person who is threatening or bullying to us, or even how we might be acting that way ourselves. The wolf in a dream may also be associated with a predatory nature in a sexual sense, so those who have suffered abuse, or who fear some sort of sexual overtones they are not comfortable with may dream of wolves in this way.

Wolves can appear in our dreams when we fear or are experiencing loss, especially of a material or financial nature, stemming from the old saying that “to keep the wolf from the door” indicates security and not going hungry. Wolves may also appear in dreams when our subconscious has picked up something is not quite right, and is trying to warn our conscious mind that we should be careful of what or who we trust, that there may be a “wolf in sheep’s clothing.”

But no animal itself is inherently bad, and these values that we assign to them are the result of years of cultural associations. Remember when we dream of animals, they also represent a part of our selves, and we cannot understand what our dream means simply by looking up a symbolic reference. We always need to go the next step and ask ourselves, “what does the wolf mean to me?”

Wolf dreams challenge us to confront what we are afraid of, and to not lurk in the shadows of our own subconscious. Wolf dreams offer us the gift of strength, freedom and the ability to fiercely protect that which is dear to us. Wolves in dreams invite us to claim back our own power, to run freely and live our most authentic life possible, without fear, without shackles, without shame.

Speaking of the animal symbolism, in dreams or real life, don't know if you are familiar with the following site, but in my experience it has been useful and rather accurate in the way Louise Hay's symbolic interpretations of various diseases can help with understanding their real cause.

Interesting dream there, Trendsetter! What really stood out for me was how the progression went from golden retriever, to german shepphard, to wolf, each being successively more intense with the howl. As in some sort of evolution occurring along with an intensity of emotions experienced by you during the howl. Also the significance of number 3.

Three signifies life, vitality, inner strength, completion, imagination, creativity, energy, self-exploration and experience. Three stands for a trilogy, as in the past, present, and future or father, mother, and child or body, mind, and soul, etc. Dream of the number three may be telling you that the third time is the charm.

There could be a lot of different interpretations but I also had a dream with a wolf in it not too long ago and Joe brought to attention this quote from the C's. You might find some relevance with the quote. Nonetheless dreams are subjective and it's up to the person who had it to discern what relevance the dream serves and what insights you can gleam from it. Maybe a good question to ask yourself is what stood out to you the most and why, without forcing it. Some possible insights could be drawn from that.

A: Okay, now picture yourself in a forest clearing. In that clearing you are surrounded by a pack of wolves. These wolves, in your mind, represent a blockage. The blockage is emotion. Emotion is a necessary component of life in 3rd density. It can be of great assistance, and it can also be a hindrance. Normally, in critical situations closest to the 3rd density individuals existence, these emotions serve temporarily as hindrances. So, we ask you to picture these wolves surrounding you. And, as wolves will do when addressed in a calm voice, when one takes a deep breath internally and externally, and asks the wolves in a calming, reassuring voice, to simply go back into the forest, that all is well, then the wolves turn and retreat, as wolves will do. This removes the hindering aspect of emotion, which allows intuition to become stronger. Then, in turn, one's intuitions are not "torn."
