Combat drones seem to be the main source of casualties in the Ukraine war on both sides. Many of those rely on human operators but some are apparently AI kill drones.
 
CJ Werleman has been providing good reports during this nightmare in Gaza, now he shines a light on the situation in Israel itself. It would appear that morale within the Israeli community is now on the slide, and more and more people are waking up to the truth about the Netanyahu regime. This is good news, but it's not all on Netanyahu, because there are even more extreme voices in the Israeli far right faction. It's a 15 minute vid, but well worth a watch, Werleman's a solid reporter.

Seems like whatever economic steps Israel is taking at the moment is keeping its afloat. From this TG channel.

A few words about the Israeli economy. There was a 12.4% increase in the 3rd quarter compared to the 2nd quarter, exceeding the forecast of 8%. All this happened against the background of a lull in the acute phase of the conflict with Iran and a sharp decrease in the intensity of hostilities in the Gaza Strip.

The growth is mainly driven by consumer spending, exports, and, most importantly, domestic investment. At the same time, government spending increased by 4.4%, and Tel Aviv stock indexes are at record levels. The shekel has strengthened by about 11% against the dollar, reaching its highest in three and a half years.

In other words, Israel is actually recovering due to strict protectionism, which absolutely does not correspond to the concept of a free market, which was previously declared by Israeli politicians. However, with GDP expected to grow by about 5% in 2026, the Israelis seem to have decided to temporarily ignore globalism and other liberal economic attitudes.

Also Netanyahu appointed a new Mossad head:

Netanyahu appointed Roman Hoffman, who was born in the USSR and moved to Israel with his parents at the age of 14, as the new head of the Mossad.

It should be noted here that people from Russia had previously become heads of Israeli intelligence services, for example, Isser Harel, who was born in the Russian Empire, became the first head of intelligence services.

However, for the first time in Israel, the head of a key intelligence service will be a man whose native language, which he has spoken since childhood, is Russian.

It seems to me that the woman from the UN at the last interview with Tucker was basically saying that the new “peace deal“ of Trump and “ceasefire“ basically turns out to be a ruse because Israel is in fact continuing what it is doing to Gaza/Palestinians just as before, but now, thanks to this shadow of “there is peace now“, they were enabled to decrease public pressure on them and put it easier back again behind close doors, not so in the open. Who would have thought?:

There's so much rubble, it'll take years to count the bodies caught underneath. Israel has revealed itself time and again to be crude, clinical and psychopathic. Everything repellent to the human soul has been demonstrated since 1948. That most of these human beasts come from middle-europe is telling too. They emerged from the ashes of WW2 still alive, and more than ready to fuck one over on you with the twitch of an eye. And nearly 1m dead, it's unconscionable. One day, the architects of our global dystopia will have to face the ineffable face of "the one" and have to bear witness to their deeds. I live to attempt to accelerate the coming of that day. Nothing else matters as much as justice, it's what defines us as human.

I thought they'd be able to calculate roughly how many people are dead by the number that are missing and that the Health Ministry there would have an incentive to release realistic figures. But they're either unaware, withholding or being suppressed by something.
 
Unfortunately one of Israel's first targets for destruction were municipal buildings where Gaza's tax and census records were kept. So it's difficult, to almost impossible to get an accurate list of the missing. Entire extended families have been removed from the rolls due to the savagery of the zionist bombardment. There are also many orphans so young the don't even know their own name, let alone their family name.

US officials pitch $112bn plan to rebuild Gaza as 'high tech metropolis': Report

The reconstruction scheme seeks to fulfill Donald Trump's vision of a 'Riviera of the Middle East' in the destroyed Palestinian enclave

US special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner have presented a $112 billion reconstruction plan to Gulf officials to build a “high-tech metropolis” atop the remains of Gaza, the Wall Street Journal reported on 19 December.

The 32-page PowerPoint presentation labeled "sensitive" and titled "Project Sunrise" was developed over 45 days and reportedly presented to officials from Qatar, UAE, Egypt, and Turkiye.

The plan envisions turning the Gaza Strip into a “high-tech metropolis” over the next two decades with four phases of reconstruction beginning in southern Gaza.

It also calls for turning Rafah into Gaza's new “administrative center,” housing over 500,000 residents.

However, the plan does not specify where two million Palestinians would be sheltered during the reconstruction period.

Israel's blockade of shelter materials has left Palestinians sheltering in bombed-out buildings and tattered tents.

In early December, a severe winter storm caused over a dozen fatalities, including three infants who succumbed to exposure, and led to the collapse of several buildings.

About 95 percent of Gaza's tent camps have flooded due to the heavy rain.


Witkoff and Kushner's reconstruction plan also proposes monetizing 70 percent of Gaza's coastline beginning in year 10, a move officials hope would generate over “$55 billion in long-run investment returns for prospective investors.”

Both Witkoff and Kushner come from prominent Jewish real estate families rooted in New York’s property sector, with careers built around large-scale, high-value developments and deep financial ties to Gulf sovereign wealth funds.

According to the proposal, the US would provide $60 billion in grants and loan guarantees to back new debt, with expectations that the project would become self-financing as local industry and the broader economy recover.

The World Bank would also have a role in the project.

The proposal is contingent on Hamas demilitarizing and decommissioning all weapons and tunnels. This precondition is highlighted in bold red type on the second page of the slide deck.

Hamas officials recently offered to “bury” the group's weapons and hand over power to a Palestinian governing body.

However, Israel has blocked those efforts and refused the participation of nearly all Palestinian technocrats and bureaucrats who would be suited to govern Gaza.

Earlier this year, Trump proposed permanently relocating Gaza's Palestinian residents to transform the strip into a "Riviera of the Middle East," a plan rejected by several countries but welcomed by Israel's government.
