07/03/07 'channelled' sketch

Hello everyone,

I am new here, and I must say that I am very pleased to have found this site. My journey to get here has been an adventure, as all of ours will have been, I'm sure. I have been avidly reading throughout the site (and still have loads to read!), and also Laura's books since finding her and Ark. It has been interesting to say the least, as it is helping me with the 'mosaic' that I have had forming - and much of the information here has also helped me to feel less mad!

I wanted to share with you a drawing that I 'channelled' on 07/03/07 (I called it 'Honesty' and wrote on it 'how to stay alive, how to save a life'). I was wandering around my house/studio at the time, and really had no idea of what to do with myself. I then had the urge to pick up a piece of paper, and literally, out of the blue came this drawing below. I tried to make a mistake(simply to test what was going on, as it felt different to the process I normally go through)-and my hand would not let me!

Anyway, I have since produced several paintings based on this figure (in the same manner) as well as other works which are very linked to an alchemical process. To date I have not been able to pinpoint where 'Honesty' is from. The paintings done of her have always felt really inspiring, and have given people much joy. They are uplifting and full of hope.

However, somebody along the way mentioned it looked like 'The Mothman' - which has got me thinking.......(and reading some of 'The Wave' you will know why). However, I have to admit, I have always felt that she is very positive - in fact thought that she is me 'in the future'. So, as you can imagine, I was very intrigued to find the Cassiopaean's.

Of course, what I must do now is 'ask'.

Thank you Mountain Crown. It's been a few days.....just to say I am/have been 'digesting' this info.

One thing that puzzles me.....when I paint/create I do always carry within me the intention to express how I am feeling at that particular point in the 'journey' so to create a map of images; process of growth (to further develop a 'series' to assist others that request it) . This is asking yes? Or no?

(I also find to truly express that of depth into the written word is not easy)

Are you at all familiar with the work of GI Gurdjieff? It is the guiding principle behind this forum and may help you to understand why all that seems/feels 'positive' is usually not as it seems - and how to begin to determine what is actually objectively real.

Another work that might interest you is Laura's 'High Strangeness' - http://www.qfgpublishing.com/product_info.php?products_id=79 - it explains in some depth how we are manipulated and influenced by those who often wear the disguises of 'angels' - or of our 'higher selves' in order to keep us in our place. If you've not read it, you might find it quite illuminating.

As written, this implies unconscious urge and act. It could have been from some part of your subconscious, or apart from you. I dare not choose. In either case, feelings of hope and joy may not be the best criteria to judge the matter.

Thank you anart. I have not read anything of Gurdjieff at this time, although I have read 'High strangeness' and have almost finished 'The Secret History of the World' - both of which most certainly are illuminating - again needs time to digest. As I mentioned earlier they have helped me piece a 'mosiac' together that was/is forming - earlier I mentioned 'feeling less mad' as around me there has been much 'buffering' (whilst I have been working on deleting mine over time).

I will learn some more....disguised 'angels' and 'higher selves' keeping us in our place - was the reason for my post. I am seeking answers....and my mind has been stimulated differently by entering the forum discussion and writing.

is how others have described my work. During the time of this sketch the 'New Age', 'wishful thinking', 'love and light' played a part in my life - and at this point subjectivity/objectivity where brought into question by me.
