10:10:10 on 10/10/10

Saying goodbye to some family. :(
We had a get-together this weekend with a brother who flew in from California. :)

Celebrating Starlights birthday! And she became 42, which is 101010 in binary numbers! :D And 42 is supposedly the meaning of life, according to the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy.

Am or pm?
Well in the pm I was at my daughter's-in-law birthday party.
In the am I was driving to work then changed my mind and returned home.

am: Sleeping. Didn't feel well.
pm: Watching "Doctor Who" episode.

I totally forgot to look in the am, I was either doing laundry or putting medicine on the goats rear....hard to say, I live such an exciting life these days. :P

though for some reason I had the date in mind, since at work I am consistently putting dates on forms. On 10/9/10, I thought to myself: say tomorrow will be 10/10/10.

And when the date arrived nothing out of the ordinary happened. I just spent the day toying around with my children.

Next date to think about will be 11/11/11.

Cheers!

AM: Re-reading Graham Hancock's Supernatural
PM: Spent time with family as my sister came over with her month-old son, then I watched Hollywoodland and What Women Want on DVDs, then reading Aphrodite Jones' The Embrace: A True Vampire Story before bed (which was such a waste of my time because of its very badly written, more opinionated, and the author didn't do a good job making this a good readable true crime story - that's my review!).

:)

Wishing everyone on Facebook a Happy Binary Day! (Although technically, I was 10 minutes late ... which caused a mathematician friend of mine to state that he was confused. Was I 2 minutes late? Or 10? )

Hi Guardian,

Check this out;

Mercury News said:
The Los Altos boy, born Sunday, is already a local celebrity. Not only was he born on 10/10/10, but he also arrived at 10:10 a.m. in Room 10. His mother, as she should be, was dilated to the full 10 centimeters. And now all is well with the newborn and his beaming family.

"We've heard all the jokes," father Chris Hondl, 39, a software engineer for Finale Fireworks, said Monday. "The baby's a perfect 10. He has 10 fingers and 10 toes."

The rest of the story here. :)

In the a.m., I was getting ready to go out... in the p.m., I was in bed reading about cometary impacts.
