"Texas police say 170 people are facing organized crime charges following a biker gang shootout, which left nine dead and 18 others injured in Waco on Sunday. Law enforcement remains on alert in the city, with officers saying they have received threats."

"The police sergeant stressed that the area is now safe, with a large number of SWAT officers still at the scene."

and someone was commenting on my share of this incident:

"Police snipers were in place, ready and waiting, did they take the first shot? They could have, and God knows they are pushing for civil unrest, what better way to start things off than a good old fashioned Bike War, just like they used to have back in the 60's"

Could this really be a government set up?

“We had one of the inside guys call me, tell me the only thing he knows is he heard a gunshot and he saw police officers running everywhere and bullets going everywhere,” Graves added.

As head of the Texas Confederation of Clubs and Independents, Graves said the meeting was intended to be a peaceful gathering for bikers to learn about their rights, and said he has no idea yet how the fighting started, or who started it."

My two cents...
I have worked in bars and have acted as a host for a cable show many times at the ROT rally. I have also worked at a Harley Davidson shop. I have never seen this kind of violence from these "criminal gangs". Their known as groups or chapters. Most of them spend time doing poker runs to raise money for victims of cancer or a family that needs help. I am sure that many bikers right now are scared. The comments under main stream news has a lynch them thugs tone.
I am not saying that their is no illegal happenings within these groups, but I would place money on the fact that none of them went to that bar and grill to kill or be killed. Waco already has a nice track record of blowing things out of proportion and blaming it on the victims. The ROT rally is on June 11th and the Austin police department is already prepared to ramp up the law enforcement for this event. The rally brings in well over 200,000 people every year.

Horseofadifferentcolor thanks for commenting .. some how I feel the same. I can't believe that such one act of violence happen out off blue in country where bikers are very popular. This looks like Mad Max scenario. It is not fair to blame the whole biker comunity to be violent. Tomorrow they can turn on any group that is out of the "regular" look to be suspicious .. this is insane ...

I agree that not all bikers should be associated with this but with all divide in this country it usually splits very black and white down the middle. Most people are aware of Hells Angles stories and think of most riders in these terms if they are not around any to know them. I have had some very close friends that ride in these groups. The are a very
close knit and do take loyalty to the group very seriously, but not in a bad way. A give the shirt off their back kind of way and not just in their own chapter, but to communities as well. This really tarnishes all the great people out there that ride. One biker commented on how they will need to be careful for a while and never ride alone. You can imagine some angry ill informed bigot trying to run them off the road. I hope this was not a false flag attack, because if it is I fear it was only stage 1, and Austin being a later target. Or maybe one of the musical venues that are held across the state often for fundraisers. I really hope I am wrong.

I also dated a cops son fresh out of high school and got to hear some of the undercover agents stories. Some pretty corrupt stuff deemed as funny. This is a little off topic but an example of the mind set. One cops favorite story is about pulling over a group of six guys around three in the morning. The cop standing at the window tells the guys " the only people who are out this late is either a burgeler or a faggot." Three of the guys quickly said I am not a burgeler. So the cop turns to his partner and says " we got three burgelers and three faggots, what should we do with them?" This was their mentality.

I tend to agree - it's looking like another 'test run' to provide an impression within the public that such groups are dangerous. Makes me wonder if there will be more staged events of this type in order to have an excuse to lock people up that might pose a problem when it comes time to impose martial law? It also looks another part of the process of getting people to ask for such draconian measures.

I've red today that some more bikers' gang members are coming to Waco, Texas. So maybe more violence is to be expected (as maybe planned). Maybe all this has to do something with Jade Helm 15.

AUSTIN (KXAN) – Outlaw biker gangs plan to arm themselves with explosives and target police officers in Texas, according to a bulletin sent out by the Department of Public Safety. The alert, which warns police agencies from Austin to North Texas to watch out, comes just days after a biker-gang brawl in Waco left nine people dead.

Citing an unnamed informant, DPS said members of the Bandidos Motorcycle Club who are in the military are supplying the gang with grenades and C-4 explosives. :umm:

The bulletin said the gangs are “plotting to target high-ranking law enforcement officials with car bombs.” It goes on to say the members will try to run over officers at traffic stops or use grenades and Molotov cocktails
Specific locations listed in the memo list Austin, Corpus Christi, Dallas, El Paso, Houston and the McLennan County Jail.

“The information remains unconfirmed, but we are sharing it with law enforcement out of an abundance of caution for officer safety,” the document said.

In response to the recent violence, Austin Police Chief Art Acevedo said his officers will be ready to head off any trouble at the Republic of Texas Biker Rally, which begins June 11.

“To anyone who’s coming into Austin, Texas, to ROT Rally, to cause problems: This is not the place you want to be,” he said. “Because we will be staffed up to 100 percent; we will have undercover officers in crowds. We will have eyes and ears in places they won’t even see us.”

The biker shootout in Waco is also having a ripple effect on another Texas town.

The Cossack Motorcycle Club called off its annual rally in the town of Mingus, west of Fort Worth in Palo Pinto County, because of concerns about “revenge violence.”

Law enforcement in Mingus will still be on alert in case die-hard members still decide to show up. The sheriff also asked businesses to close as a precaution, but some places cannot afford to shut down on a holiday weekend.

“A lot of the businesses around here they want to close, and some of them are going to close to be safe,” said Adriana Ruiz at the New York Hill Café. “But we’re going to be open.”

Officers also plan to shut down the road leading to the site of the canceled rally to keep people away.
