These are the upcoming tropical storm/hurricane names for 2006. I hate to admit it, but, I think I would have a real problem losing all I own ( or losing my life ) to a hurricane named: Debby, Joyce, Patty, Sandy, Tony, Chris or Nadine. Now, Leslie, Kirk and Valerie aren't front runners either, but at least they aren't either derivatives of longer names or names out of a John Waters movie. (I love John Waters, by the way, but who wants to get hit by hurricane Nadine?)
Granted, this thread probably lacks long-standing value, but I just had to point this out because, as most things these days, it just seems surreal.

Haha..Hurricane Tony...Sounds either like a wrestler or a Brooklyn mobster.
....and Hurricane Flo ??? I'm not even gonna touch that one.

Who comes up with these names anyway? Although Ernesto has some 'swing' to it: A Latin-American Hurricane ;)

I have a feeling they will have to come up with some extra names, seeing how extreme the weather is becoming, I figure there will be more tropical storms / hurricanes this year, more than there are letters in the alphabet.
