5+ Inches of Snow in Phoenix Az

Actually, the snow was in Carefree which is 30 mins from Phoenix. It was 31 degrees F, also. I have only lived here for 2 years, but I am guessing that this weather isn't the norm for the end of February. 5+ inches of snow! I thought I was back in Pennsylvania for a moment, not the Arizona desert!

While I was driving from CA to the East coast US I encountered a terrible snowstorm through northern AZ and NM. I think snow is a little more regular up there but still it was really bizarre, and the locals said it was a rare event. Scads of snow all across I-40. This was a week ago.
