6.7 Earthquake. Guerrero, Mexico.

Just for report, that minutes ago there was an earthquake that was felt in Mexico City.

Fortunately, I was quite distracted at the street returning from work and did not got me scared, earthquakes usually get me nervous...

I hope everyone are alright... Hadn't had felt like this one for a while, I should go home, take care.
 
It happened just a few miles ago from my hometown here in Guerrero. The epicentrum was in a town called Zumpango. Some minor damages were reported, but through relatives and friends I know that at least a couple of people died. Some minutes ago a friend of mine posted a photo of a public trasport vehicle crushed by a big piece of concrete taken in the streets after the earthquake.

I was at work during this, at a height of 5 m more or less (I work at a sports shop) storing some items, it was scary, I couldn't descend quickly because the violent move, it was until boxes start to fall down that I decided to jump. But the scariest feeling of all was to think of my baby and wife who were alone at home. Fortunately they are safe and sound, my baby was asleep during the quake, and my wife only suffered a nervous breakdown, but we are Ok.

Hope everything is fine for all the other forum members (and people in general) who live in regions affected by these quakes.
 
Glad to hear you guys are safe. What a scary experience. I know we have a few members inn Mexico, so I hope everyone else is well. Hope their are no significant aftershocks.

that's a pretty strong quake.
