6.9 Earthquake in Pucallpa, Peru

6.9 Earthquake in Pucallpa, Peru. Just heard that on the radio! The news also said that tremor where feel in Lima, where I live, that's all across the country!!! I didn't feel anything but 6.9 for a place so poor and undeveloped like Pucallpa can be devastating, I'm really just waiting form more news, there's nothing online yet.

For info this earthquake was upgraded to a magnitude 7.0 - USGS :)

Virginia quake Location 37.975°N, 77.969°W

Peru quake Location 7.644°S, 74.506°W

I dont know if it's significant but the Peru quake is very close to direct south of the virginia quake.
I found that interesting.
