The Force is Strong With This One
Greetings, All.
Just finished reading Chapter 1 of "The Wave", and man, when i was reading about the hypnosis session with "Mary" (I think that was the name used), and the part about the Wave arriving with comets. my hair stood up.
I had a dream quite a while ago, and I'd like to share it, and welcome any insight on it. I haven't talked to many about it, But I did speak with a Native Elder about it, and she seemed to think it may be "prophetic". But in my experience, Native Elders never give a lot of "answers"

It starts with myself, and a number of other people who I don't recognize sparsely gathered on a large field. ( I recognized this in my dream as the athletic fields at the junior high school I attended,) my Father is there with me as well. It is night time. There is a full moon. I look up, and notice that there is a circular amethist colored light in the center of the moon. After that, there are several comets (also amethist colored) that streak across the sky. Can't quite remember how many, but I think it was 5. After that, there is a "ship" that lands, and a door opens. I remember running with my Father, and trying to hide. At this point these "beings" start to emerge from the "ship". These beings resembled infants, and at that point the element of fear escapes me. Each of these "infants" proceed to go to seemingly pre- determined people including myself. I take "my infant" in my arms, (or rather, it takes me) and I ask it, "why are you here?" It answers but there is no speech, no movement of it's mouth, however I clearly understand it when it says, "we have something we need to teach you" This is where I wake up.

Any thoughts?

I suspect it is your subconscious encouraging you to keep reading, that the Cassiopaeans have "something to teach you", and that you should cherish that Knowledge you will receive..... But I am hardly a dream expert, just my take, for what it is worth....

Yes, this dream is likely an invitation to knowledge from your inner self to learn and to learn about yourself.

Hi Nipmuck4truth,

Just a few thoughts about your dream:

Schoolyard setting may refer to "lessons"
Full Moon - A full moon signifies completion.
Circular amethyst light - again circle can mean completion of cycle, and light represents knowledge.
Ship - represents a journey perhaps metaphorical
Infant - newborn infant, represents a new beginning and possiblities/potential.

My intrepretation, (which may be way off) is that this dream is about you learning the lessons and gaining the knowledge you need in order to complete this cycle, which then leads to a new beginning - the infant is you!

I agree with Pepper and mkrnhr - this seems to be about learning.

Well, he said that he had the dream quite a while ago and that he'd just finished Wave 1 - so while the dream does appear to be about learning, I don't think the direct connection to the C's holds much water in this case, simply due to the time line. fwiw.

Thank you all for your wonderful input.

VERY good Manitoban! How about another?
This one is more recent.

I am on a job site (as you may know, I work as an electrician) I am pretty much goofing off for most of the day, talking to some friends I know from my high school days, I finally venture back to the job, it is pretty much complete except for the equipment being connected, which had not arrived yet. The job consisted of running a power circuit from a hotel type building underground out to a designated location. I had performed most of the work myself, and the conduit has already been buried, and the parking lot paved over it. My boss had come at an earlier time and drove a ground rod at the location the equipment was going to be installed. The client impatiently questions when the job will be complete, and I reply that all I need to do is turn on the circuit breaker, and proceed to do so. BOOM! I was confused at what could be the problem, and proceed out into the parking lot to check the problem. As chance would have it, my boss drove the ground rod directly into the conduit! Man, was I pissed! The only thing my boss had done, and in a one in a million chance of hitting a conduit about an inch or two in diameter, and he nailed it! Now, we were going to have to dig up the newly paved parking lot, and basically do the whole job over again. I informed the client of what happened, and told him he should call my boss and let him figure it out, and walked off the job.

I have quite a few ideas about this one, but looking forward to your input! Any and all welcome!

Thanks again!

Hi Nipmuck4truth (And welcome to the forum, by the way);

I don't think there's any valid science of dream interpretation, although many of us appear to share 'symbols' with common meanings. We also have in common, emotions like fear.
Since a large part of psychological therapy in general, and this Work in particular, works with the emotional 'glue' or 'magnets' that hold our buffer system together, that's where I would tend to look for meaning first.
As a side note, if you've read any of the dreams others have posted, you'll notice a tendency to give detailed accounts of the visuals as if they expect to discover all the meaning there. Emotional content is sometimes ignored or skimmed over. That can be 'telling' as well, in the sense of one's attention being vectored off an area that one would rather not look at.

Having said that, here's my 2 cents...and keep in mind, I'm no dream expert either:

You've just finished reading Chapter 1 of "The Wave" and had a reaction that could be termed 'fear', or 'scary' or something similar. This fear 'cues up' another 'scary' memory of a significant event to you - that dream. The dream also contains fear as you indicate with comments like "...running...and trying to hide", and "at a particular point, "the element of fear escapes me".
Not knowing you or anything about your emotional past, maybe the dream was just your minds' way of putting a story to some buried fear so that it can be 'experienced' or 'recycled'...as your personal awareness expands? Or, as "The Wave" expands your awareness, some things that have been needing your attention will come closer to waking consciousness so that they will be 'within reach'...?

BTW, I think the second dream is just a 'movie' about some suppressed job-related anger that you're not dealing with. Boring interpretation, I know, but I'm no expert. :)

When you're finished with the Wave series, and the Adventures series, re read this dream, and it might make a whole lot more sense in an unexpected direction. :D

Whoa....looks like your comfy ideas on 'how things ought to work' is about to have a wrench tossed in it. ;) Getting mad about it is normal, so is the response "I didn't screw it up, so I don't have to fix it." You might want to slow down on your reading to let things cook a bit in your mind, let the connections process, the synchronicities synchronize, et cet.

Welcome to the forum!

How you feel immediately upon awakening is important for interpreting a dream. Dreams communicate on subtle levels, and the intellectual center is only one part of it- if at all.

Greetings, All,

You all make some very good points, Thank you.

And thanks for the reminder to take it slow. I always try to keep that in mind, but with all this new information I have been taking in lately, I feel like I'm so far behind! Although, many of the concepts here are quite familiar, and bear some resemblance to one of our Creation stories.I understand I need time for it to be able to "digest", and too much at once can be harmful in some ways.
I'm very grateful for finding you all, and I appreciate your kind input. Looking forward to evolving with you all.

Peace

I know what you mean. A bit of inspiration (maybe?):
It helps me just to know that the 'way' has been identified and the road mapped out. To me that means I don't have to hold onto an idea of 'the destination' (expectation) so much, as simply knowing I'm on the road (following the path of the Work). As long as I know that there IS a purpose for this path, then all I have to concentrate on is where I step (what I'm doing moment-by-moment and day-by-day) because that is the only thing that becomes relevant to getting there. Or so I think.

I've had a few thoughts about this, but really not sure if they will make sense or not:

Job – refers to the tasks of this life.

High school friends – refers to the past, parts of self formed at that particular age.

Power circuit – electricity symbol of life force

Underground – the subconscious buried parts of the mind

Boss - represents authority, part of self that "runs"things.

Dig refers to searching - need to search into subconsious/buried knowledge.

My take is that this dream is about a task in your life of digging up and connecting with what's buried in your subconscious. You have done MOST of the work, but the boss part of you, that runs things, manages to self sabatoge even though the odds are overwhelmingly against this. Earlier, you had been goofing off (avoiding the task) with friends from high school. Just wondering if there is some significance of that time period in your life and if it's related to the development of a "self sabatoging" boss part of you, the part that can't/won't connect to what's buried in your subconscious. In the end, the outcome is that you have to start the task over again and start digging deep.

as always, maybe this is way off, but fwiw
