a light in the sky...

hey guys i was just out for a cigarette and couldn't help noticing the strange look of the clouds so i decided to take some pictures , and heres some of them.... do you guys see the light? any ideas of what it might be?

any ideas or thoughts on it? thank you

Hi Alejo,
The "spots" seem to have a rainbow affect to them which makes me think it has something to do with ice crystals or moisture reflecting light off of them but I don't really know. I sent the pictures to _SpaceWeather.com to see if they can identify the "spots". I'll let you know when they respond

Thank you ! :) I should mention the moon. Tonigth at arround 12:20 eastern time was in this grading of colors from a dim yellow to a dark yellow to a vivid red! And i've noticed that it's been doing that very often recentely , anyone has noticed it? It was beautiful on one hand very intriguing on the other.....

looks like a 'Halo' which can be seen around the sun, usually in winter though(icecrystals reflecting the sunlight)...

...a rainbow is allways opposite to the sun(waterdroplets reflecting the sunlight).

a sundog... Hum , yes it pretty much looks like what a I photographed , so it can be caused by ice crystals or water or humidity if I got it rigth) , and since im in the northern hemisphere i guess is the latter ,well I didnt know all that stuff , thanks again guys ! This is very helpful
