Universal Soul Connection

As we stood at the Universal Station
Awaiting our star to travel on
We knew each only had room for one
Same as it is in our hearts
Not even room for tears none at all
For the oceans were full
Any additions would truly be apocalyptic

Through the cosmos I have traveled
Across the lands I’ve searched
To find you again and be reminded
Of a feeling words cannot describe
Yet engulfs my soul with an essence
Surpassed only when unified with
The Creator

Time as I know it ceases to exist
Within places that never die
In your mind where I relax
In your heart where I breathe
In your soul where I live
Through your words when I listen
To verbal slideshows of your life

What more can I say to you
Which you don’t know all ready
How can I convey to you things
You may not truly understand
Perhaps a glimpse of my emotions
That it’s through you for eternity
I will always love myself

Enny--I like it a lot. When you say "It's through you I will always love myself" that is, for me, a bittersweet truth. When buddhists say, "Take refuge only in the Buddha" they are saying every other is the self. It's so poignant how the ceiling always blows away...
