A quote from Theodore Roosevelt

This quote may have already appeared somewhere in the vast archives of this site but I feel its worthy of repeating even so.

"To announce that there must be No criticism of fthe President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only Unpatriotic and servile, but is Morally and Treasonable to the American Public." Theodore Roosevelt 1858-1919, 26th President of the United States of America.

My favorite from Teddy:

"Far better it is to dare mighty things and win glorious triumphs, even though checkered with failure; than to rank with those poor souls who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the grey twilight that knows not victory, or defeat".
