A rant, a rave and a pair of wellington boots...

Can Won

Padawan Learner
I was feeling a little down and frustrated recently and decided to just get it off my chest and onto paper, which seems to have helped.
It's not really bringing anything new to the table, so to speak, there is an element of humour in there though... (hopefully :/ )

Okay, where to start?
My name’s Ché and there’s a few things I feel are necessary to say at this moment in time.
So, let’s start with a really simple question…one that rather than asking other people, perhaps we could ask ourselves… so, "How are you?"
I’m asked this question quite a lot through the course of the day and my usual response tends to be along the lines of “Great”, “Wonderful”, “Good” and other words to that effect. However, as much as the question is a personal one and my answers do reflect my wellbeing, what does “how are you?” really mean, like I say I’ve always answered the question on a personal level, but it’s got to the point where external factors also need to be addressed.

So I’ll ask myself the question again “How are you Ché?” only this time I’m not going to respond as I have done in the past. “I’ve had enough. Enough of the psychopathic regimes that are placed all over the planet, continuously making life an uphill struggle, particularly for the more vulnerable of us. Is this life? Seriously? Is this the only choice there is and we’ve just got to get used to it?"
I can’t stand here and claim to be anything more or less than anyone else here, but I still want to say a few things.
We’ve all been so busy paying the bills, that we seem to have forgotten that there’s something else we should have been paying, we should have been paying attention! It won’t cost you a thing! Put it on your Short list of things you can do for free, I know that’s a pretty “short list” so there’s plenty of room available.
Is it too late to turn things around? I can’t answer that. Simply because I just don’t know. But looking at it from an “anything can happen” scenario, what if there is a chance that we can do something?
I come across a lot of people working on their personal issues, now as much as all these personal issues are worthy of consideration, there’s a particular issue that is effecting the majority of us here. Quite simply “Psychopaths”. That’s the long and short of it. The system that we all live within on this planet is dictated to us by psychopaths, Democracy? No. Dictatorship? Definitely. So when someone says “No they couldn’t do that!” or “No, they wouldn’t do that!”. Really what your saying is “No ,I couldn’t do that” or “I wouldn’t do that”. But the problem here is that you are not them. Trying to rationalize their decision making without understanding how their minds work, appears to end up with a large percentage of us all in denial of the situation.

To paint a picture of the logic of humanity in this situation is kinda like stepping outside your front door and finding a puddle. Slightly baffled, because you knew it hadn’t rained recently, you frown and push your lips together in a kinda kissing motion. But you’ve got things to do and push it to the back of your mind. This goes on for a few days, to the point where you start to actually get used to stepping over the puddle on your way out to work. And each day the puddle gets that little bit bigger. Your busy though and don’t have time to address it. Maybe at the weekend you think to yourself reassuredly. And so the weekend arrives. There’s a knock at the backdoor, it’s one of your neighbours, and your first thought is “Strange, I wonder what he wants?”. But your neighbour doesn’t actually want anything! He’s actually come round to say that he was out early this morning and saw someone urinating outside your front door! He apologises for bothering you but thought you would want to know. The problem is though that you’re more concerned with why he didn’t knock on your front door, instead of the back door. In fact, this troubles you all morning. Anyway, by chance, you bump into the neighbour later that afternoon and decide to let him know that in future, you’d prefer him to use the front door next time. The neighbour’s a bit startled by your reaction to his supposed good deed but is delighted to hear you follow up with, that you’ve solved the problem anyway. “Oh great, what did you do? he enquires. To which you look down at your feet with a look of satisfaction and respond with, “I went and bought myself a pair of wellington boots of course!”.
This is the mentality that’s stopping us deal with the biggest problem there is, on this planet. Denial of the situation.

So moving along. One of the main weapons the psychopaths on this planet have is money, how much money is there? apparently not enough. Yet there is no set amount of money. Therefore for there not to be enough money to get certain things done, then there must be a set amount. but there isn’t any set amount. There’s as much as we want or don’t want. The problem is the numbers are dictated to us by the number one problem. Psychopaths. They like to say there’s not enough to get certain things done particularly at this moment in time and we’ve all got to tighten our belts, yet it’s plainly obvious that there is as much as you want there to be when there is no set amount and that is a simple fact. I’ll say it again, because it is vitally important. There is no set amount of money. If we are to progress, then we need to stop for a minute and see what is going on here. So let’s start with the basics. Is this system working for or against humanity? Therefore this is not about your personal position, but about all the people who live on this planet. It’s a pretty simple question, so it deserves a simple answer. No, it is not working. Well, if it’s not working, then why are we using it? Because it does work, very well in fact. Very, very, very well for psychopaths, who will do whatever is necessary to stop debate about such matters unless it is within the confines of this system. This system doesn’t work, so the next question is what would work? Well, rather than focusing so much on all the things that could work, but due to them being apparently untested, any argument appears to stand strong with a simple response of “No, that wouldn’t work” and then a number of reasons why. But this system is not working, could it be any worse than what we’ve got? I’m sure it could! However in the same breath there’s no real reason other than opinion why we can’t have a different system in place here. We can sit down and talk about all the different options available to make a system work, but it will only work for us when there are no psychopaths involved with any of the decision making.
So let’s look at it from a more positive angle.
We now know what doesn’t work.
So what can we do?
Talk, talk, talk! Raise the awareness of what a psychopath truly is.

If you’re reading to this, The battle’s not over yet. A decision will need to be made. Whose side are you on here? because it really is a case of them or us. Ignoring this choice is picking a side, does that make things clear enough? We can do it, it’s whether we want to do it. Battered and bruised we are, but we hold the power, simply by exposing them and the way they work.

After reading this through, I started to pick away at parts of it, but it is what it is!
Just a personal rant and a rave ;)
