A Rock

It easy to forget that most of us here on the 'Blue Marble' are hyper dimensional souled beings with specific missions to carry out. Often times we can get wrapped up in the minutiae of third density life and become distracted from our own given purpose believing our own density is the only one that matters. As the Cs tell us, it is through an increase in knowledge and conscious awareness that we are reminded of the interaction of all things imaginable and sometimes unimaginable.
I find myself frequently taking for granted the first density entity's that make up my environment . So, it is with this poem I aim to redress the balance in some small way.

A rock

I used to be a rock
Lodged high up on a cliff face
Sometimes the birds would flock
Around this windswept place
The rain would pelt and pummel me
Eroding me to form
And then the Sun would warm me up
With the passing of the storm
I could see the land below me change
With every nameless day
I could see across the mountain range
Where the fresh white snows would lay
Clouds gathered like curious sprites
Before they disappeared
The grasses grew to greater heights
Which fed the grazing deer
From spring through summer to autumn climes
There came an icy blast
I saw if happen countless times
Each following the last
And silent was I as I watched
Decay refuelling life
I made no judgement of the depths
To which a soul survives
For aeons did I taste the air
But never felt alone
For every second I was there
I knew that I was home
Eventually it rained so hard
Was washed down a ravine
Got ferried by the water surge
And was dropped beside a stream
Till one day when the morning broke
And the leaves were hung with dew
A funny creature picked me up
And smashed me clean in two
I felt my spirit rising up
From the ground where I had been
And what looked like a naked ape
I saw splashing in that stream
He had with him a family
In total there were six
Could see my broken body rest
Among some gathered sticks
Part of me was used to grind
Some seed into a malt
That shell that I had left behind
Was used to crush and pulp
So as my spirit neared the light
It told me it would grant
Reward for all my patience spent
I'm to become a plant
That will meander restlessly
In a breeze of gentle flow
For now the light will nourish me
And allow my leaves to grow
No longer will you be as stone
A harsh but hardy role
Your sentience is doubled now
Said the light onto my soul
And once your trials of the soil
Have reached a natural end
Your soul that gained experience
Will return to me again
So go forth back into the land
Where nature is your clock
It's there then you will understand
Your time spent as a rock
