A song for my little son (lyrics from Gurdjieff)

Hi, I wanted to share this Snippet of a song I wrote for my baby boy, the lyrics were taken form Gurdjieff's Beelzebub's Tales to His Grandson which I saw in Ark's webpage some time ago, I really loved this words so I try to put it in a child song as a message to my Son. :)

This is a demo, not the better sound unfortunately, but it has some homemade tricks as overdubs an loops etc. Here it is:

"Whatever you can do or dream you can"

But why is it so that some people achieve
while others only dream, why?
Those who follow that part of themselves that is great
becomes a great man

Never do as others do
either do nothing just go to school
or do something no one else does

Whatever you can do or dream you can...

Oh it's so cute, Tykes! And it's even more special knowing it's to your son. I just got Beezlebub's Tales in the mail last week and am excited to read it soon. Thanks for sharing!

:) Thank You for your comment Scarlet, it's good to know you liked it. Enjoy Beelzebub, it's a hard but great reading!

Fantastic! Reminds me of smiley-smile era beach boys, and I love the beach boys. That tone fits the lyrics just right.

It is terrific that you write songs for your son. I imagine he loves them now, and they will likely be even more special for him when he is grown. :)

Given your deep fondness to the music of Brian Wilson and The Beach Boys it's just a great honor to read your comments, very kind on your part SethianSeth, many thanks! :)

P.S. I hope to read your article about Brian Wilson and ponerization once you have it ready.
