Well first of all let me say that it has been a heck of a ride so far, but all in all I still had not understood the concept of "Wisdom Protects", among others. It really bothered me and let me try to explain why. I had taught myself that if anyone is repeating something or is trying to emphasize something TOO much something is usually wrong with the picture.
Then I understood, it was not the concept itself that was puzzling me, but the fact it was being used, as I perceived it of course, as "armor", "shield" or let"s just say in a defensive manner. No problem there, anyone can do as they like that is all fine by me. But the fact that I was "hiding" behind a concept, as opposed to being out there and looking death ( or whatever monster?) right in the eye was beginning to show it"s ugly side. Then it dawned on me, the idea of Knowledge, as I see it now, it"s that it is not the armor, it is the sword. And if a Knight hangs on to his sword too tight he cannot find his way out of the jungle, he will start slashing right and left at the first sign of trouble. Then I realized that I must not "cling" to any piece of information, let it all slide and whatever I choose to believe, I will believe because it "fits the bill", IT CAN BE RECOGNIZED BT IT"S FRUIT not because "the boogie man is coming". And of course, that requires a "Leap of Faith" (Depicted quite well in the Indiana Jones movie:). But after that I have seen that "Death smiles to all of us", and instead of retreating I made the choice of "smiling back". Then I could truly seek and find Knowledge, without forgetting that Knowledge comes also from being kind and giving everything it"s due.
I guess what I am trying to say is that if one takes the time to learn and has the necessary will, all will fall into place, in my case it is faar from falling into place but hey one step at a time:)
And also, as I now see it, that some people understand things others don't and we are not here to judge and for all we know anyone might be taking the necessary steps to learn it all his way. So I am struggling at the moment with trying to be kind because as I see and feel it, that is a very important part of the "way": to try to understand but to KNOW when to say something or do something and when to just let things be. (And that" haard, or so it seems now :)
The thing that promted me to write this was an excerpt I found in "The Wave Series" and I would like to share it with you and only say that it started to make sense after I read the last part:
"Laura here: But that directly contradicts the teachings of Michael Topper [who argues that we have no participation in the creation of our reality.] You are suggesting that we "create our own reality" by what we think? I tell you that we create our own reality by what we BELIEVE. And what we believe very often directs our thoughts in exactly the opposite direction [of that we wish to manifest] in order to create balance. Those who believe the world is broken seek to focus only on "love and light" in order to "fix it." Those who cannot look at it AS IT IS, in all its terrible aspects as well as those realities of ineffable beauty - and ACCEPT it as it is; as PERFECT; will experience all the problems that make them desperate to change the world. And once you believe the world is perfect, deep inside - once you let go of fear - once you can look and see and not judge anything as being wrong, though it may not be desirable or preferred by you - then your reality will change to the most perfect for YOU. "
Guess i"m missing the inner "deep inside" feeling and really letting go of my fear, but hey its all a Working progress right? ;)
