Age gaps in friendly or intimate consensus

Not sure if the title is clear. I was thinking about my own and others experiences of being with someone with a significant age difference between them. 15+ years. There was a thead on the forum before with Macron and his wife and their age gap. I remember reading about their history (she was his teacher). Epstein crossed my mind, which is different; they're not adults. Both are adults.

I can't find the old thread on Macron. Generally speaking, it is uncouth to be with another old enough to be your parent.

Can someone point me to that thread on Macron and his wife? And generally, what might be happening here?

I think I know what you mean by intimate consensus. Friendly consensus actually sounds like friendship to me.
Huge age differences would seem to be somewhat unwieldy to me not least because there are different challenges for each generation.

How much of a factor is appearing uncouth for many people when there are other factors like money, desire, career or dependency disorder?

Macron's wife may actually be his handler, who knows? But she's definitely giving him cover for being gay.
