Gore has amassed a galaxy of stars and a big war chest to launch a massive ad campaign to really drive home the illusion that everyone agrees that something must be done about global warming. I'd bet a lot that ordinary people are never going to feel the responsibility to control their energy use, so naturally the PTB will step in with "solutions." Enough programming could eventually mean the granting of vast powers to the PTB to pass just about any restrictive measure if they can spin it as combatting global warming. The possibilities are almost endless. They could make a ton of money by carbon taxing the use of all fossil fuels to "cut demand." They could claim a food shortage and herd us all into "efficient" communities. Maybe they'll just have to euthanize 90% of us to "keep the planet alive." Thanks, Al!
