Alien in the bedroom?

A few weeks ago my wife woke me screaming in fear.

She didn't think she was sleeping, but opened her eyes and saw an alien standing over our bed keenly watching us, as if trying to figure out something.

A couple things make me think it was just a dream: 1. The alien, except that he appeared to be white in color, appeared to be like the one seen in the movie Signs. 2. I didn't see anything when I woke.

Now, to counter that: 1. The look of the alien is burned into our minds these days, and they all look similar. 2. The aliens certainly have the ability to freeze us motionless, so it's possible that what my wife experienced as screaming at the moment she saw it, she may well have been frozen from screaming until it had time to leave.

Real? Imagination? I find it odd that my wife has never had a dream like this before, and she would have it literally only a couple of weeks after starting to read Laura's books and blog.

Scary stuff though!

Hey aaronfransen,

Reading Laura's books and blog can really open our eyes to a lot of things going on that we weren't aware of and that are pretty shocking and scary. I think a number of people can attest to experiencing more high strangeness in their lives upon reading Laura's work.

Whether it was an alien or not ... our unconscious mind can sometimes create images to deal with other things going on under the surface. Are you and your wife practicing http://eiriu-eolas.org/ The EE breathing & meditation program? What are your eating habits like? You should check out the diet and health section. You'd be surprised how changing your diet can minimize these types of events from happening.

The aliens certainly have the ability to freeze us motionless, so it's possible that what my wife experienced as screaming at the moment she saw it, she may well have been frozen from screaming until it had time to leave.

An interesting thread that gives a fresh perspective on 'freezing' is this one In an Unspoken Voice - Peter Levine - a more practical, down-to-earth understanding of what might be going on.

Knowledge protects. :)

While I could certainly chalk the experience up to my own changes, my wife has not partaken of any of them as yet, and we've been eating pretty healthy for a few years now (since discovering I was diabetic actually, like 10% of the population!).

As for freezing, I'm sure there are a great number of explanations, physical, psychological or otherwise, and each one can be applied in differing scenarios dependent on the circumstances. I just know that it's a fairly common experience for folks who see aliens in their bedrooms :)

If you're diabetic you could gleam a lot from spending some time in the diet & health section. It's pretty groundbreaking information, and may throw your definition of healthy eating out the window. It did mine! ;)

I'd start with the 'Life Without Bread' thread. (Unfortunately the computer I'm using won't let me cut and paste the URL)

weird, right after i started with the work, my woman experienced something similar. she saw an alien in our bedroom trying to grab her or something, i woke up to her high pitched screeming... she was just a month in pregnant, maybe hormones? another thing is , she said the alien noticed me kinda becoming aware of it and fled and then she was able to scream. weird right.. i'd still like to put it down as a bad dream though:)

I had the exact same experience in Maui. But first I saw a UFO in the sky...Well to be clear it was a blinking light that stayed in the same place for hours. Far up, but not far up enough to be a star. But, I was not a 100% for sure. Kind of kept going back n forth to see what the heck it was. Anyhow, went to sleep around midnight and remember waking up around 4am and saw it in the window looking at me but I was frozen in bed. I have listened to some channeling stuff and this "being" said it was to keep us safe so we don't slip into their dimension as they peek into ours. I guess they can go back n forth and since we do not know how, they "hold" us in place so we don't slip. I guess good intentions but we feel creeped out because its new/strange to us.

I still am not 100% convinced it happened since I am open to the fact my mind could have just dreamt it up. But as I read your initial post it did seem very similar to my experience.
