To enjoy the spectacle, the first time I see this.

It's just a sunset in winter, migras!

It's beautiful, and that 'exaggerated effect' could partly be due to increased particulates in the atmosphere from volcanic eruptions and cometary dust, aka 'meteor smoke', but it's still the same old Sun, not an "Amazing celestial phenomenon shining halo".

Part of the "phenomenon" appears to be an artefact of the camera.
