Blood-curdling screams can be heard in this horrifying footage showing the moment a crowd of people is set on fire as a leaking tanker bursts into flames.
As the clip begins a number of people are seen standing around a tanker lying on its side, reportedly near Egypt's port city of Alexandria.
The tanker had tipped over and begun to leak gasoline from its roof.
A group of people then apparently tried to steal the fuel, while others stood by taking in what was going on.
But suddenly the gasoline ignites and the flames engulf at least ten people standing nearby. People can be heard screaming and crying and what sounds like the truck's horn is blasted several times.

Several people were injured in the horrific fire that took over the entire street within just seconds as thick dark smoke can be seen rising into the sky. It is not known how many people were injured in the incident or how seriously.
