Basically, she was heavily into new age and was doing yoga, tarot, reiki, astrology. Now, I believe that those things actually can help you to learn more about yourself and to find out what do you need to work on. From around 30th minute she talks about yoga and around 1h and 10 min she talks about astrology.
She says that in yoga your are actually calling demons and making your body an antenna for those beings. And she talks how she had some intense experiences. My question is how do people start believing that yoga, tarot etc. is demonic and come to Christianity? I believe that finding Christ is a good thing and if she feels fulfilled that is great, but why believe all other is satanic?

Trading one "True Believership" for another. I believe in x, it's the only right away and everything else is evil. It's taking that belief and holding it regardless if the medium is switched, New Age, Christianity, Judaism, etc

It seems like an inherit belief that everything has to fix in a box of their personal belief and not being open to the possibly of what doesn't resonate with themselves, may resonate with someone else even if it's paradoxical and not be evil.

Basically, being closed minded and thinking your way is the only right away and everything else is evil

Well, some people need an outside source to guide their thoughts and morals. So jumping from one belief system to the next in complete agreement with the second, even if it demonizes the previous one, is completely ok.

It reminded me of a video I watched a few years ago where some religious group was calling dragon ball Z, the anime, a satanic show and by association all the anime shows on TV, and I thought it was ridiculous, but then again.. if someone were to adopt that belief system entirely, they'd end up hating anime as satanic even if they used to love it previously.

Some of these groups base their identity in fighting an enemy and they create that enemy anywhere, and then fight it.

That isn't to say that belonging to a group with that kind of filter, or lack there of, isn't a good way to make yourself available to whatever is out there, and I think part of the key in that scenario, isn't the practice itself, as much as the lies you tell yourself about your practices and the groups you decide to belong to. I'm sure if there are demons feeding off of yoga practitioners, they're probably buddies with the demons feeding off of religious fanatics.
