Another JP Morgan Linked Banker Death

Well, this is the last one i heard of lately:
www.zerohedge.com/news/2014-04-05/abn-amro-ex-ceo-found-dead
A mere two weeks since former JPMorgan banker, Kenneth Bellando jumped to his death, Bloomberg reports that the former CEO of Dutch Bank ABN Amro (and his wife and daughter) were found dead at their home after a possible "family tragedy." This expands the dismal list of senior financial services executive deaths to 12 in the last few months. The 57-year-old Jan Peter Schmittmann, was reportedly discovered by his other daughter when she arrived home that morning. Police declined to comment on the cirumstances of his (and his wife and daughter's) death. This is not the first C-level ABN Amro banker to be found dead. In 2009, former CFO Huibert Boumeester was discovered with (assumed self-inflicted) shotgun wounds.

Of course, this next one is for the intel count, which has always been harder to keep track of:

A senior CIA official has died in an apparent suicide this week from injuries sustained after jumping off a building in northern Virginia, according to sources close to the CIA.

CIA spokesman Christopher White confirmed the death and said the incident did not take place at CIA headquarters in McLean, Va.

“We can confirm that there was an individual fatally injured at a facility where agency work is done,” White told the Washington Free Beacon. “He was rushed to a local area hospital where he subsequently died. Due to privacy reasons and out of respect for the family, we are not releasing additional information at this time.”

A source close to the agency said the man who died was a middle manager and the incident occurred after the man jumped from the fifth floor a building in Fairfax County.

Many agency employees are known to work under stressful conditions and high stress is considered a part of the profession, for the three general types of employees: Intelligence analysts and support personnel, technical services operators, and members of the clandestine services, the agency’s elite spying branch.

The CIA is known to operate or rent space in a number of semi-secret locations in the country, including at least one high-rise building in Tysons Corner.

The agency also operates a number of top-secret facilities used by its clandestine service officers, including agency safe houses.

No other details of the death could be learned.

The agency is currently engaged in a high profile dispute with the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.

About a week or so ago, the CEO of AGVA Agrycole Bank died unexpectedly at the age of 50. This was the CEO of Armenia's division of the bank. Haven't been able to find any reports of cause of death.

CEO Of Liechtenstein Bank Frick Murdered In Broad Daylight

Over the weekend the world was gripped by the drama surrounding the mysterious murder-homicide of the former CEO of Dutch bank ABN Amro and members of his family, and whether there is more foul play than meets the eye. However, that is nothing compared to what just happened in the tiny, and all too quiet Principality of Lichtenstein, where moments ago the CEO of local financial institution Bank Frick & Co. AG, Juergen Frick, was shot dead in the underground garage of the bank located in the city of Balzers.

Based on preliminary reports, the murder is the result of a disgruntled fund manager, Juergen Germann, who had previously been embroiled in a "bitter dispute" with the government and the bank.

Former ABN Amro banker found dead in family murder-suicide

Sunday 06 April 2014

Police are investigating a murder-suicide at a family home in the wealthy town of Laren, where a former senior ABN Amro banker, his wife and daughter have been found dead.

Jan Peter Schmittmann, 57, was head of ABN Amro Nederland and left the bank with €8m in compensation when it was nationalised in 2008.

The body of Schmittmann, his 57-year-old wife and 22-year-old handicapped daughter were found at their large detached home in Laren on Saturday. Another daughter was not at home at the time.

‘We have received a lot of additional information since Saturday and that needs looking into,’ a police woman told reporters.

'The cause of death and more information about what happened in the house will take several days to establish,' she said.

Schmittmann struggled with severe depression, says his family

Former banker Jan Peter Schmittmann (57) on Saturday murdered his wife, who is of the same age, and his 22-year-old daughter in their villa in Laren and then committed suicide. That is the finding of the Dutch Forensic Institute. How the women have been killed, was not disclosed.

A farewell letter was found in the house. What it states, the police would not say.

Severely depressed

The family of Schmittmann is deeply shocked, was disclosed in a statement. "We knew that Jan Peter struggled with severe depression. That this ultimately would lead to these events is still beyond comprehension for us."

The daughter of 22 was mentally limited and she stayed at her parents only at weekends. Her older sister of 25 was not at home on Saturday. She is taken care of by other family.

"Our first concern now lies in supporting the other daughter of the family with the processing of this indescribable grief. We hope to be able to do so in peace and privacy", the statement said.

Juergen Herman the main suspect in Frick murder gone missing... There are some calculations of possible suicide since in his car he left confession and his clothes were found on shores of Rhine... He pronounced himself the Robin Hood of Liechtenstein and even supposedly offered a reward of 200 k€ for finding him dead or alive
