Without giving away this film, from Wikipedia it starts by saying:

The film begins by following him through his daily routine, which consists of checking fishing lines for catches, mapping his surroundings and running a distress beacon powered by a hand-crank dynamo.

Okay, that's enough descriptive quoting, other than to say that if you are looking for good dialogue in a film, this one is not for you - in fact dialogue is really not applicable here. If you are looking for strange twists and whodunnit, nope, not here. No guns, politicians, drugs and sex. What you will find, though, is excellent cinematography. As for the main actor, Mads Dittmann Mikkelsen, he seemed right for the role and played it well.

Overall, I was pretty impressed - the director is not familiar to me, yet he takes an old storyline placed in an arctic setting and runs with it.
