"Art for Change" Images

I've been inspired to make some images to hopefully spread around the internet and here are my first two so far. Please let me know what you think, thanks!

I think this one is still in-progress, but I'm not sure...Do you get where I'm trying to go with it?

Ain't the first one the truth! I see the second as associating different organizations with destruction. The Soviet logo didn't read well for me. See the wiki page on the USSR flag.

The first one is very good and straight-forward. Hopefully it might get someone thinking.

I'm guessing that the second one is supposed to form some word that can be read? I'm not sure what it says, though. After looking at it a few times of several minutes, I think it says "coextinct"?

Ok, thank you and I agree! That is the only design I modified to make it look more like a 'c' letter.

Thanks, I also think it's hard to read. I was sketching out ideas for another take on the "coexist" logos that are out there that represent different religions. It is intended to say "coextinct" (a word I made up). Hmm, I might just nix it, because it took me quite some time to put together, but the "psychopaths" one was so much faster and more to the point, I think.

Also, I'm trying to think of ideas on my own for one on narcissism, and any others. Hmm if anyone can think of any phrases I am most appreciative! Other than that my 'I's and I will continue brainstorming on our own..;)

Agree with 3D and Mechanic: The first one's good! The second one demands some thought process and therefore isn't as immediate as the first.

Thank you so much everyone for posting it and for this feedback! I agree the second one is like a brainteaser, lol. I think I'll let that design go, but I have lots of ideas for other ones and am excited to make more. Knowing that other members have posted them is very inspirational, thanks. :)

Thanks for the tip, Lilou! It gives me an idea. :D Here are some simple ones I just put together. Please feel free to do whatever you like with these images...

The designs for both of them are good. The red one seems finished. For the black one, I would change the word 'controllers' to 'manipulators'. The word 'controllers' has alternate definitions that seem to lessen its impact, at least for me.

Oh, thank you HowToBe! I like that idea better and will change it! I liked how the letters in "controllers" were so close to "content" like in the original design, "Parental Advisory, Explicit Content," but agree that manipulators is more accurate. After all, I just controlled about 200 teenagers today in my classroom, lol, but in a good way! ;)

Also, thank you for the encouragement on the "coextinct" one. I wondered if it was a bit of a weird idea, but am glad to see you and Lilou actually think it has potential!

I like the one with the symbols. The second one. I have an idea with a American flag with a nazi symbol fading into the field of blue and stars. Course the guys probably wouldn't be happy with my rendering. Too much like the truth.

I like this idea you have and it made me imagine also that the stars could all be swastikas! And that is the problem with this kind of art, I think. I would really like to print out the "Psychopaths, one in twenty people are NOT your friends" one I made and make it a bumper sticker on my car, but then I would fear that they would come after me...:( This could just be a projection from my imagination and I know I must work on not being intimidated by them.

Also, thank you for the feedback on the "coextinct" one! And as for the "expert controllers" one, I'm now thinking of maybe "expert con-artists" instead of HowToBe's suggestion of "expert manipulators"...? Hmm...
