This morning, I dropped my son off at daycare as usual. One of the staff ladies (childcare educator) came to me with tears in her eyes. They are asking every parent to come pick up their kids early today because the staff will attend a funeral...
One family with 3 kids, their oldest son, 10 years old, died in his sleep after taking a "magic" pill his friend gave him. His friend bought the pill for 10$ on the street from a stranger... The autopsy revealed Fentanyl overdose.
Now this raises many questions such as, how come a 10 year old walks alone with money in his pockets and talks to strangers on the streets?
Plus, I live in a part of Montreal that is somewhat safe and quiet compared to others.
I share this message with the intention to bring awareness, hoping it might prevent another tragedy like this.
