I would like to share a dream I had about 18 months ago while in a hotel during a work related trip. This occured about 6 months after my awakening process began and I'm wonding if that had something to do with it; either way, it was quite an experience.
I was sharing a room with a coworker who had already fallen asleep on his bed. Not much longer after that, I rolled over to go to sleep with a light still on. After what seemed to be a short period after I dozed off, I began to dream that I was in a very small parking garage structure. When I began walking, I seemed to be funneled into concrete hallways that were about 10 feet wide with lights hanging from the ceilings. The hallways had 90 degree turns about every 30 ft. and I kept walking through these hallways and turns. I eventually came to a 90 degree turn where I had to take a left, and as soon as I did, the attack occurred. When I turned to the left there was a group of small, black humanoid figures about the size of bowling pins (that were coincidentally arranged in a full bowling frame configuration) about 6 feet away from me. A loud, shrieking noice sounded off and the black humanoid figures burst into my chest with incredible force.
At that moment I immediately woke up completely still and alert, staring at the wall next to my bed. I was filled with rage that was directed at my attackers; I seemed to believe that I was being attacked and I wanted to fight back. What happened next was even stranger. While I was directing this rage towards my attackers, a storm appeared within my field of vision and it consisted of moving clouds that were gray, blue, and white. I could also hear the wind of the storm whistling and I felt a strong wind against my face as if a fan was blowing on me. The storm dissipated shortly thereafter and everthing ended. What amazed me was that I was awake during the entire storm episode and when it dissipated, I rolled over to see check on my coworker and he was still asleep.
After reading through many of the dream posts I learned that we are the best interpreters of our own dreams, but I am at a complete loss as to what this dream could have symbolized. All I've been able to come up with is that it was simply an attack, maybe having something to do with 4D STS's displeasure with my awakening. The fact that the whole episode took part both in a dream state and while I was awake has left me very curious. Has anyone had a similar experience? This is the only time I've ever had a dream like this, so it was a one-time experience for me.
