I missed the first episode but watched the second one yesterday and I liked it very much. I summarizes much of what we've been discussing here on the forum, so It's a really good way of reviewing and seeing what's out there in terms of information about autoimmunity.

They all agree in one point: the key factor is gut health. Yes, there are other factors that can make us more prone to autoimmune disease, but the gut seems to be key in whether or not our immune system develops that autoimmunity.

One thing that called my attention is the issue of bad absorption of nutrients. I think that's indeed very important because it creates some sort of catch 22 where even though you take many supplements, your body isn't absorbing them due to inflammation and a bad gut health. So here again, correcting gut issues seems to be crucial so that we can replenish the body with nutrients that are going to be key in any healing process.

The next episode is going to be all about the gut, the microbiome and how to restore the gut flora, so it seems that it's going to be very interesting!! :D
