God i couldn't listen past the first 2 minutes, the interviewer is so astonishingly biased. It's as if he's debating with the syrian ambassador as opposed to interviewing him.

And interviewer asks one questions in order to gain knowledge of their perspective. How one can do this and debate with your subject makes no sense whatsoever. To call it an interview is blatant doublespeak!

edit was for grammar

Yes, in fact, he did such a bad job at it, that hopefully it was apparent to even the regular "Joe" just how this "interview" was a snow job.

One thing i don't understand is how Hezbollah apparently captured the soldiers. Its all fine and dandy until you realise that they dug 1/2 a mile of tunnel under SAND.

If someone could tell me how in hell thats possible, i'd love to hear it.

This website brought that to my attention; http://judicial-inc.biz/A_ttack_gaza_tunnel_2006.htm

I think you're getting confused with the capture of the Israeli soldier by members of Hamas, a (somewhat) separate incident from that which involved Hezbollah. There was recently an article by a former tunnel engineer on the signs page which you should find interesting, I cannot find it in the archives though. Anyway, it suggests that the Israeli story of the capture is completely implausible.

Ah...I do seem to remember two different incidents of kidnapping, but i wasnt sure. Either way, half a mile tunnel under sand = lol. I'll see if i can find that article..
