Beauty of spring

Qbone started a "Beauty of autumn" thread, so to give everyone a taste of the antipodean spring around my place, I thought I'd add some pictures of my own. This year I've had more time than usual to tend to the garden, so despite the currently dry conditions in my neck of the woods, a good water supply has ensured lots of colour. This year I focused on several Narcissus tazetta varieties, as well as my favourite poppies, the Shirley series.

Moderators if some of these photos are too big, let me know!

This is wonderful, thank you :flowers:
I do think each season is beautiful, and I love their symbolic meanings. I tend to prefer "transition" seasons: automn and spring.

Thanks! I would encourage other Southern Hemisphere forumites to add their spring photos also!

I'm shivering in my chilly apartment smiling. The pictures bring a smile to my lips and warmth to my heart.

Thank you.
