Clearing out some papers recently, I came across this article I'd printed out from this site, before I came across SOTT or Cass:
_http://www.bullyonline.org/workbully/serial.htm
about bullying in the workplace. To my surprise, at the end, it mentions Robert D. Hare's books, Cleckley's 'The Mask of Sanity', and several newspaper articles entitled 'Snakes in Suits'. (Obviously I didn't get as far as the index.) Reading through it now, after spending a lot of time on this forum, I think the 'serial bully' written about here is none other than our friendly neighbourhood psychopath/ sociopath.
The author of the 'Serial Bully in the workplace' estimates that one person in thirty (in the workplace), male or female, is a serial bully. Well, I've certainly had to work alongside them, and I'm sure other forumites have also.
The Home page - _http://www.bullyonline.org/index.htm - also lists School bullying; Family bullying; Bullying news; Bullying case histories; Bullying resources; Press and Media Centre; Stress; PTSD and psychiatric injury; Action to tackle bullying, and Related Issues.
Most, but not all, of the points listed in how to spot the serial bully have been dealt with on this forum under the Ponerology and Psychopathy articles, but I thought this worth posting for interest.
