My kinesiologist recently asked me about this device and if I had heard of it before. I did a search on the forum and didn't find anything.

From my understanding, it emits the 7.83Hz Schumann Resonance, and is able to be adjusted to other frequencies as well.

Has anyone ever used one or heard good or bad about them?

(as an aside, my kinesiologist also has a neuroptomal so she is pretty good on things that work usually)

here is the product Bexxly Harmonia

from the site

Your body and brain naturally respond to certain sound and energy frequencies. Frequency healing is based on the idea that these vibrations can help restore balance — like calming your nerves, improving focus, or easing stress.

The Bexxly Harmonia generates precise frequencies ranging from 0.1Hz to 100,000Hz (through sound and electromagnetic waves) to gently support your body’s natural healing systems. Just choose a frequency, turn it on, and let it do the rest.

1. How Harmonia Works
How can a frequency actually help your body heal?
  • The Earth's Natural Pulse
Your Harmonia emits the 7.83Hz Schumann Resonance - the same electromagnetic frequency that naturally exists between Earth's surface and the ionosphere. NASA studies confirm this "heartbeat of the planet" influences human biology, particularly brainwave patterns and circadian rhythms.

  • Precision Frequency Generation
    • Laboratory-grade TCXO oscillator (accurate to ±1ppm)
    • 0.01Hz-100kHz adjustable range (1mHz resolution)
    • Pure sine wave output (THD <0.8%)
    • NIST-traceable calibration

  • What Is Frequency Healing?
Peer-reviewed research shows specific frequencies can:
✓ Entrain brainwaves (study: EEG frequency-following response)
✓ Reduce cortisol by 19% (University of California, 2021 trial)
✓ Improve HRV (heart rate variability) by 27% (Journal of Alternative Medicine)

  • The Earth's Natural Pulse
The 7.83Hz Schumann Resonance isn’t just some "woo-woo" theory—it’s the actual pulse of the Earth, proven to sync with human biology. Harmonia replicates this perfectly (with lab-grade precision) to train your brain into its ideal states:
    * Deep sleep (like you’re floating)
    * Flow-state focus (mental clarity on tap)
    * Instant calm (stress dissolves in minutes)
No effort. No willpower. Just plug in, press play, and let your nervous system automatically shift into its best version.
  • How does Harmonia emit frequencies?
Harmonia uses a temperature-controlled crystal oscillator (TCXO) for lab-grade precision (±1ppm error). Frequencies emit via electromagnetic field + audio output.

I haven't heard of this device but recently checked to see if Stephen Porges had written anymore about his Safe and Sound Protocol because I was interested in that protocol and he published a book on it in August of this year. From what I recall, Porges found that using sound can be a bit tricky when there is trauma so the introduction of sound for therapeutic purposes is approached carefully. I think that his protocol was only initially played for a few minutes at a time, but haven't revisited the material to confirm that yet.

In any case, he discusses it in the following vid where they talk about both treating autism and trauma and the differences in approach between the two.

His new book:

Safe and Sound: A Polyvagal Approach to Reduce Anxiety and Find Calm

The amazon blurb:

Safe and Sound introduces the groundbreaking new tool The Safe and Sound Protocol, developed by Polyvagal pioneer Dr Stephen Porges. Designed to help you regulate your nervous system, Safe and Sound will explore the therapeutic power of listening to help you manage symptoms of anxiety, depression and trauma.

Featuring stories from the therapy room and therapy-backed advice, you will discover how to use sound in all aspects of your life, from recognising how different music makes you feel to weaving sound into your healing journey. Uncovering the amazing hidden power of sound, this accessible and practical guidebook will equip you with the tools you need to lead a calmer, more resilient life.

Without having read it, and working from memory of snippets I've picked up Porges basically works with sound frequencies in the range of a human voice expressing the prosody of ventral vagal regulation. He uses existing music and applies filters to dampen or mute any frequencies in the music that don't fall into that sound range. IIRC those frequencies are in the range of 200-2000Hz, but until I revisit the material or read the book I'm not willing to swear by that.

Brexxly doesn't say on the website if they have specific introduction protocols for first time users, possibly in the guide that comes with the machine. They mention 'angel' frequencies in their resource centre and I wonder how they can know what they are, so dunno, that could be a bit gimmicky and new agey.

Yeah I noticed a few things like that too, still, as long as it does what it says, you can look passed that. I guess what I am trying to figure out is;

A - does it actually emit the frequencies accurately (which so far seems likely to me as it’s a time generator and that shouldn’t be too difficult)
B - is that beneficial to us!?

There’s lots of stuff on the Schumann Resonance on the internet but I haven’t found anything concrete as to its benefits as yet.

On the sales page, under how it works, it says:

There's no spec sheet, or at least one easy to find. What is the strength of the electromagnetic wave, the wattage? How strong does the signal need to be in any case?

The device may have a beneficial effect, I don't know, but I see a lack of technical specifics as a red flag. As a potential customer, I would wonder if there was some sort of intensity setting. It seems like this thing creates a signal to drive a speaker and a transmitting antenna, and not much else.

hmm ive seen these kind of gadgets before-imo theyre usually not that effective.

I did a quick ask on the the brave ai function and this is what it came up with below

- to whom it may concern these words below are not my own words! but that of brave browser AI..!!-

<<The Bexxly HARMONIA exhibits characteristics that raise significant skepticism about its efficacy beyond a placebo effect.

While PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) therapy is FDA-approved for specific medical uses—such as treating bone nonunions and certain types of pain—with clinical evidence supporting its effectiveness in those areas, the Bexxly HARMONIA makes much broader wellness claims (e.g., healing, DNA repair, chakra alignment, appetite control) that go far beyond what established science supports.

Key concerns:

  • There is no peer-reviewed scientific evidence that specific sound or electromagnetic frequencies can "heal" conditions like stress, insomnia, or emotional imbalances through devices like this.
  • Claims such as reducing cortisol by 19% or improving HRV by 27% are cited without verifiable study links or independent replication.
  • The device’s marketing relies heavily on anecdotal testimonials and references to pseudoscientific concepts (e.g., "energy fields," "frequency healing"), which are not grounded in mainstream biology.
  • Independent analysis flags the vendor site with a low trust score (36.8/100), recent domain registration (Dec 2024), and lack of verified customer support, raising red flags about legitimacy.
In summary:
While low-level PEMF has proven medical applications, the Bexxly HARMONIA appears to overextend these principles into unsupported territory, making it plausible as a relaxation tool but questionable as a healing device. Treat it with caution and do not substitute it for medical care.>>
