Hi ziggystarlust,

You are a member of this forum since 2006. So you should know by now, that it is not externally considerate to post a link without saying anything about that link.

The submission of this article is for the editors of Sott.net so that they may choose it as an article-or not. And for Sott readers that are interested in the following topic, if deemed relevant. For me to discuss Astrophysics would be fruitless. I read the subject matter out of curiosity. But it may be of importance to those who discuss such matters with an appropriate knowledge base. Now my post under>Questions for the C's>Leukemia>Kries is a different manner. Should Kries respond to that information, I would be obliged to help because that was the intent and I have more knowledge about that topic.

To discuss a news article, I would have chosen the above sub header of the Sott forum page>Discuss news articles

It's really not that complicated. When you post a link, describe the link. You don't have to get into a deep discussion about it - just explain what it is and why you're posting it. Certainly you can do that much.

Hello ziggystarlust,
You can for instance copy the abstract of the article in order to give an idea. For example:
from the article said:
An international team of astrophysicists has shown that planetary systems with very distant binary stars are particularly susceptible to violent disruptions, more so than if they had stellar companions with tighter orbits around them.
Just an idea. You can say something about the article without discussing it.
