Hello Everyone!
I felt the necessity to post this experience because it was very strange indeed and was wondering if anyone has gone through something similar in the past or recently...
On November 28th. 2012, I fell asleep in my living room couch. My daughter was sleeping in my bed and I suddenly woke up because I heard a car alarm and I heard a strange noise in the living room. This happened simultaneously... I immediately felt the urge to go lie down next to my daughter. Not in a normal sort of way, but in a protective sort of way, like I new something was there or going to be there...
When I laid down, I was in between that stage where you're falling asleep but can still sense what is going on around you.
I was laying on my side and I felt something behind me, then I felt that something struck the back of my head where the occipital lobe is located. It was not painful but I definitely felt it.
I immediately started having a strange dream where this scientist was sitting beside my bed on the opposite side and there was this man with long hair lying face down on my bed. The scientist asked me a question about this person..
"Is he human or animal" , I responded by saying that he was human, then the scientist wrote it down and asked me, "are you sure?", and I responded, "yes".
I could not see the man's face but he sure didn't look like an animal to me.... After the question, the dream ended immediately.

I did a little research and the area where I felt the hit is the visual processing center in the mammalian brain.
This can't be a coincidence.... Am I going off the deep end here...?
