Don't normally find myself on twitter but was fascinated by the reaction of the trending term #blamethemuslims

It was started by a tweeter: Strange_Sanum making the point satirically that the media's first reaction to events in Norway was to blame muslims for it.

With some quite amusing sarcastic tweets:

missed eastenders tonight #blamethemuslims

are you paying too much for your car insurance? #blamethemuslims

Fascinating to see the thousands of tweets that followed by folk that didn't bother to look what the source of the tag was from and didn't understand the satirical message it was presenting. Calling it racist. Asking twitter to block it, being defensive, many ignorant and also some being racist.
