A Disturbance in the Force
I recently had an even that took place that I'm not quite sure how to explain.
On the 21s of May, 2011, I was sitting on the back porch with my family enjoying the evening. I was sitting towards what I estimate to be West/North West in my backyard in Johns Creek, GA, while my parents were sitting side by side facing me. At about 10:45/11:00, I saw in the sky just about my house what I can only describe as a bluish-green ball flash towards the woods. It was definitely solid with a orangish-yellow tail following it. I followed it with my eyes towards the woods in the back of our house, and it just wasn't there. The best way I can describe it was like a big roman candle being shot, only much bigger, faster, and it was moving laterally at a consistent rate. I estimate it to be the size of a an exercise ball and a few hundred feet in the air. I have never seen anything like this, and I do not really know what to think. It was completely unexpected. I saw where on the same night there were a few other sightings of similar things in other cities in GA and AL. I am trying not to assume anything, just looking for information. Thanks guys.
