Bronze Door Dream

April 15th, early am. Very short dream like vision. These are the type that hang with me, and are usually very symbolic. There was a huge round door. It was perfectly round, the frame was a circle, and the door was the shape of a circle. Circle within a circle. Door was very thick, made of tarnished gold, bronze...heavy gold hued metal. Kind of like the thickness of a walk in safe like you see at the bank.

At the center of the door there was cross, (plus sign cross, Templar style cross), also made of the same material as the door, same color. The center cross slowly turned, (counter clockwise), and the door began to open. Seemed the cross was the mechanism that opened the door. Beyond this door was blackness, the only light came from reflection off the door and frame itself. Like light source was coming from my viewing direction, but not from above or beyond the door. The door did not open far enough for me to see what was behind the door.

Then the picture changed to one of a white background like a sheet of paper, with letters one after the other all jumbled together as if someone was typing randomly without trying to use spaces or form real words.

I have no real idea what it means, other than a door opened, gate opened, don't know. It's really hung with me for a few days, and I felt the need to share it here. Any thoughts on it would be appreciated.

Hi Diane,

Interesting dream as it contains quite a bit of alchemical symbols.

As for the door, I would say that it represents an "access," new opportunities in life, or new changes of mindset. It can also symbolizes a transition of something in your life.

I'm thinking it could be something from your recent readings or whatever you were doing in the previous days. But, since you had this dream on the morning of the 15th, it could be related to what was happening in Boston, etc.

That's all what I can think of based on your post.

Hi Zadius, wasn't really considering Boston. Could be a link to what I'm reading. Reading The Ra Material now. Nothing about vaults, gates, or huge bronze doors, in there so far. Most of the time the short dreams, (like a moving pictures page), are very symbolic, it's hard to make any sense of it until much later if ever. I didn't have much fun with this one, maybe because I really didn't want to see whatever was behind the door.

The Ra material is fun. I'm enjoying it. I didn't really know about it until it was mentioned in one of Laura's books. It may help me solve another unsolved dream I had a few years ago. Not really a dream, more like another moving picture page. That's what I call them. When you close your eyes, meditate, and sometimes one of the little specks of light to grow and it becomes a picture. I'm sure they have a name for it, but I don't know what to call the process. Anyway it was an aerial view of Mars. Well at least it was a red hued planet with 2 moons. Always just figured it was Mars. In the picture page the planet had an atmosphere. I had kept trying to get through the atmosphere, and it wouldn't let me. Kind of like zooming in and zooming out. Very frustrating. But Mars was mentioned in the Ra Material, (so far just book one), and I'm hoping it can help me with my unsolved picture page.

The bronze vault door is haunting me...I'll zip back over what I read over the weekend and see if I can find a link to what may have brought that on. thanks

Interesting, I also once had "vision" of Mars. It looked like if I've seen this planet from several thousands km altitude, looking at it from space. Atmosphere, ground... it was beautiful!
And it was not a dream, because I was awake, just very sleepy. I saw short glimpse of Mars as described, but it was "high quality" visual, better than in dreams I usually have.
BTW, I'm Aries, so maybe there is a some connection...

I'm Virgo, so I don't know if that's the relation. But you did see it much clearer than I MrEightFive. I couldn't get through the clouds, and tried very hard to do it. I'll just say that it was frustrating. Haven't been able to go back to that picture either.

I have believed since that vision/dream that there was life on Mars. Not sure if I was part of it at one time or not. Think we have a kind of stigma talking about Mars from all the silly stories and movies that came out years ago. Maybe those silly movies were there to get us off track.

Either I had this info in my subconscious somewhere and I didn't realize it, (but I do believe if I had read this before it would have sent off all kinds of bells and whistles), or I'm getting a little help from the dream.

Was searching early this am about the circle cross thingy, and how that dream could have come up. I found this.

However the combination of an allegorical writing style and historical facts creates a maze of confusion for many people as they read the Bible and the truth about the Mark of Cain can only be found out by one who “remembers” it.

In Ancient Sumer, those who wore the “Mark of Cain”, showed they were protected by the “Lord” from the “wrath” of “Jehovah”. It symbolized they had left the spiritual path in life of taking from others and had embraced the path of giving to others.

I've been researching about a lot about Cain and Abel. But I never came across this info about Cain, Sumer, and the cross surrounded by a circle being attached to him & Sumerians in this way. At least I don't remember finding it before. I had been digging through the Torah the day before. I was trying to find out more about Cain and father possibly not being Adam. Below is what I was looking for...but it just didn't sound like a strong enough example for me.

"I have gotten a man with the help of the lord". Just isn't too strong of a example of a father of Cain...but it's about all I've got to run with right now, except for Cains punishment, and the 'mark" seemed like more of a blessing than a real punishment. It was meant to protect him from Jehovah. Then I get into the differences between Jehovah & Yahwah.

Either way the dream with the circle cross did open a new door for me, either bringing something learned back into my conscience, or making me concentrate on looking into the symbol more. If this is old news for most of you here, my apologies. Each day is a new adventure for me, and I'm excited to be learning more all the time.
