Buffy dream

I had a very strange dream the other night and I'd like to share it, part of me really didn't want to share this dream because I felt very silly... and a part of me (which I think was the predator) kept telling me that I will probably be made fun of. But I know that this network doesn't make fun, so I recognized that part of myself as being the predator, so I decided to post it just to shut that side of myself up. :P

This is what I remember from the dream:

I woke up in a very small completely white room,it seemed like a prison cell of some kind. I was a bit groggy and looked around and saw a girl sitting in the corner. She had blonde hair, and looked very banged up. She had dried up blood on her forehead and face and looked pretty beaten. But she was very awake, and aware. I remember I asked her who she was and at first she didn't answer me, she just asked if I was ok. I told her I was and asked where we were. At that moment the door opened and 2 men walked in. They looked like men in Gestapo uniforms- though a bit more futuristic looking. One of them told the girl to get up and that it was "time to go".

At that moment the girl said something like not yet, and basically ran up the wall and did a back flip in the air landing on the other side of the man, taking his knife. She cut his throat and took off his head, at that moment the other showed his fangs and I realized that they were vampires. She stuck the knife in the other one's chest and he died as well. There was blood everywhere and I was in shock. At that moment she grabbed my hand and yelled. "come on, we gotta go".

All I could say was, "who are you?" and she replied,

"I'm Buffy the vampire slayer."

and I woke up.

Mind you, I have not been watching too much TV or anything like that. I was reading a lot and preparing for my trip to Europe and have been very busy. But I have been doing POTS every night before bed and praying for vigilance and a safe journey. But on this night I remember asking for vigilance against 'vampiric' people, and had this dream.

I think my subconscious mind showed me my vigilance in the form of Buffy? Though I'm not sure what to think because we were both in 'prison'. So we can't have been to vigil to end up there in the first place right? But then we escaped so maybe it's telling me that with vigilance one can escape 'vampiric people'? I don't know... I'm assuming too many things. Then again maybe it was just a weird dream and had no deep meaning.

So I'm curious to see what others think.

I think you nailed it with what I highlighted above. Also I saw some discipline and timing on Buffy's part. She bided her time and waited for the Gestapo Vampires to try and direct a command (manipulate?), and that's when she sprung into action and exposed them for what they were.

Hah, that's a pretty cool dream. Perhaps part of your subconscious was reminding you that you have that potential. Strong, independent, capable. Buffy's a meme that has a lot of suggestion and it's one of my favorite archetypes. My interpretation would be that you're waking up parts of your psyche that were previously dormant.

Mind you, I have not been watching too much TV or anything like that. I was reading a lot and preparing for my trip to Europe and have been very busy. Vigilance itself means awareness of danger, perhaps this dream was a reminder from a potential future you. Just be extra careful when you're on your trip. Avoid strange people or situations and trust your impressions.

That's what I get from it anywho :)
