Bus Dream

Hi guys

I had a weird dream last night I thought I'd share and get some feedback.

In the dream neema and I were on a bus and I don't know where we were going. We were in the middle of the bus and surrounded by very sleep/indifferent people. We were on this straight narrow road and it was starting to rain really hard outside. Than we started to notice that there was flood everywhere cause of the rain and people including the bus driver started to freak out. Neema and I were trying to calm people down and then neema went and commandeered the bus and started driving it, while I tried to calm people down and tell them that it's going to be OK. I know there was more to this dream but I've unfortunately forgotten most of the details.

But I know that usually it's not a "good" thing when you're dreaming about other people driving the vehicle you're in, in dreams, cause it means you're not in control of your life or at least you feel that way subconsciously. :/

That is a good possibility.

The imagery of a bus, to my thinking, may mean something like being with an unpleasant crowd while being on a road (to my experience, at least). In your case, you're being surrounded by aloof people. So, the question is, if you're on a road to somewhere with some people, should they be more interested and active (to your aim/path) than being asleep and aloof? Then, there's a "narrow road," which brought me to associated images of restricted, not-wide or not-open, small. Maybe, it's a "narrow-minded" being driven by your aloof people?

And, there's rain and flooding, which, in your dream, seems like you are being distracted by uncertainty or being "overwhelmed"/"flooded" which causing your "people" to get freaked out. And, the rest of your dream showing you and Neema taking control of the situation.

Overall, I can't tell if it may have already happened in your life recently, in regards to dealing with an overwhelming situation with certain people that's directing your decisions (your path) or if it'll happen in a similar dynamic. Do you think this kind of situation, something similar, was happening in your life recently, or not?

That's my thoughts on your dream, psychologically speaking, anyway. Others may have better thoughts.

It's really astonishing. I've had almost the same dream a couple of months ago. I was on a bus as passenger among other people. We were driving along a narrow sea coast road. Suddenly I saw a big tsunami on my right coming from the sea. The people started screaming cause there was no escape (there was a big lake left to the road so that we had only one direction - straight ahead). In my previous wave/tsunami dreams I was panicing as well as the the people around me and the wave finally swallowed all us. This time I just kept calm and at that moment at the distance of perhaps 100 m. the wave suddenly stopped und we got a powerful blast of air and rain instead. I saw very clear this stopped/frozen big wave.

Riding the bus (or any other vehicle) could just mean the WAY. People on the bus could be the people from your FILM (see Gnosis I). Water is being usually interpreted as the SUBCONSCIOUS. This time it could literally signify the coming events. If you forget dream details you could try out colloidal gold (Warning: not atomic but colloidal) or melatonin. Just keep 2-3 teaspoons in your mouth under the tongue for a 5 minutes before going to bed.

Zadius Sky, you pretty much nailed the interpretation I think. Currently I've been working a lot and my co-workers are very aloof and asleep and I do spend a lot of time with them. Most if not all of them do not have the same aim as me. So what you wrote immediately made me think of them.

Before I had the dream I was also having a pretty intense conversation with neema that made me feel "overwhelmed"/"flooded" so that totally makes sense. I also feel a bit overwhelmed at work cause of the Christmas season starting, retail is getting crazy - I'm sure ya'll know what I mean.

Anyway, thanks again for your response, it really clicked.
