Bush: "time is short"

Bush, with Cheney eyeing him closely from the back, makes a fear-mongering plea (read: order) to Congress (08/03/07) to pass his spying bill (which we know already happened: http://www.signs-of-the-times.org/articles/show/137627-No+surprise%21+Senate+passes+Bush-backed+spy+bill ).

Just listen to what he says... it's mind-boggling! One of the things that threw a huge red flag was:

It's important for the American people to understand that there are cold-blooded killers who want to come to our homeland and wreak havoc through death.

We take a clear-eyed view of the world. The people on this team, assembled in this building, see the world the way it is - not the way we hope it is.

And this is a dangerous world, because there is an enemy who wants to strike the homeland.
