How Bush's grandfather helped Hitler's rise to power

Rumours of a link between the US first family and the Nazi war machine have circulated for decades. Now the Guardian can reveal how repercussions of events that culminated in action under the Trading with the Enemy Act are still being felt by today's president

George Bush's grandfather, the late US senator Prescott Bush, was a director and shareholder of companies that profited from their involvement with the financial backers of Nazi Germany.

Seems this is going to stir the pot a little bit.

You ain't seen nothing yet.

Check out the link below to an article that provides a time-line of Bush family connections to the Nazis http://www.spiritone.com/~gdy52150/timeline.html. ( I originally found this article linked from a Signs-of-the-Times webpage http://www.signs-of-the-times.org/signs/signsguide.htm )

And after that, round out your education about Nazi America by researching "Project Paperclip" and Kitty Kelly's bio on George H. Bush (CIA Director, Vice/Co-President under Reagan, President)

Just seems that this has been gone over too many times before on so many sites - is it even relevant? I'm thinking of all these redneck red state hooligans who fight over Ford vs GM vs Chevy... you can prove Henry Ford was a Nazi supporter but will it make a difference to middle America? How many Nazis scientists got NASA up and going - would people protest shuttle launches etc now? WWII was so long ago and there's more than enough evil in present day to keep your attention - I think the only people that still get hyped up about the Germans (Jews aside) are video game enthusiasts who anyways spend half their time playing the part. =) I guess I'm bored of it - however - I would like to take W to bat and ask him to explain why his grandfather's bankrolling of the Nazi party is somehow way better than if I sent $100 to Palenstine for food aid or whatever. That could land me a new bunkbed in Guantanamo.

Oh, if only we could relegate the whole dark Nazi chapter to a dusty history book, then perhaps we could have the luxury of getting bored rehashing those horrors from "so long ago."

Unfortunately, we do have "enough evil in present day," but it's not Nazi Germany this time, it's a Fascist American Empire, in which there'll be no "Allied forces" this go 'round to storm the beaches of Normandy and deliver us from the clutches of sadistic psychopaths.

You ask, "will it make a difference to middle America"? Perhaps not to the bulk of Red-State America that's blinded by patriotic ignorance, but perhaps it would provide a few souls with a familiar concept to help them wake up and see the reality of the situation all around them.

I don't think America's in danger of over-dosing on truth anytime soon, so one thing's certain: It won't make a difference if they're never told.

I say, do whatever you can to help America "wake up and smell the Fascism" !
