While talking with some forum members the other day I shared a few of my personal 'Buzz Words/Phrases' that I use regularly as 'protection' of sorts. I'm going to list a few and when I use them and was wondering if anybody else wanted to share theirs! Most of mine are inspired by emulating my mentor.
"Exciting Challenge" - this is just a positive way to say 'tough/undesirable task' so it turns what may be viewed negatively into a positive experience. I'm mean it's exciting!
"Anticipation Fun" - Have you ever had a moment when the prospect of a future experience (i.e. vacation) overwhelms your ability to be 'in the moment' (i.e. daily grind) and have fun? Well now you can have 'Anticipation Fun' while waiting for your future experience! Just use this phrase and enjoy the excitement of waiting for that future experience to come rather than dwelling on how negative your current moment is! I use this one when I'm feeling low (energy or emotionally) and the thought of a future existence where I am high just overwhelms me so much that I become more depressed. I simply utilize the power of 'anticipation fun' and get excited about the journey to that better inner space while still working through whatever got me into that low space!
"Busting it out" - Just my buzz phrase expressing the intent of getting the job done no matter the obstacle. Oh its freezing rain and we need to do a 10 hour vegetable harvest? No Problem! We are just going to bust it out! It's that simple!
"Saying Yes!" - Ever have difficulty willing yourself into a positive head space? Whenever I'm smoldering in a negative thought loop I utilize the power of "saying Yes!" with all my willpower while throwing both arms over my head in a positive warrior posture. This maneuver is a super powerful way to exercise emotional agility from the negative into the positive! This maneuver is also best when supported by a friend to inspire you out of that negative head space.
"Just Breathe Mutha*****" - The inspirational words of Wim Hof himself the world's greatest badass and cold therapy expert. Whenever I'm overwhelmed in a situation that I can't control I just tell myself to 'breathe Mutha*****' because sometimes that is all you can do in certain situations and it helps relieve the stress!
