Can't access forum from home

Since Saturday evening, I've been unable to access the forum, cassiopaea.org, or paleochristianity.org from my home IP address. I have no problem @ work or from other IP addresses, just @ home. Does anyone know what might be the problem? The error message says "(110)connection timed out". The problem started while I was drafting a post that "timed out" and nothing will load up since.

Please help! This is driving me mad.

I am getting the occasional timeout accessing the forum as well. I can't tell what is slow. It might be the wifi hotspot or it might be the forum or something else. It's REALLY slow, though.

One uses: http://www.cassiopaea.org/forum and logs
on or was previously logged on, then clicking on the link
provided by Vulcan, which is: http://50.7.225.115/forum/
forces one to re-login. Is it just me that noted this behaviour?

One can use:
tracert cassiopaea.org (Microsoft) or
traceroute cassiopaea.org (OSX or linux) or
mtr -c 10 -r 50.7.225.115 (linux)

could reveal where the trace stops.

Couple of time over the last weekend, the forum / cass home page or SOTT alternating wouldn't load for a short time and then everything started working fine again. Don't know why or if it's related, but thought I'd mention it, as well.

It happened yesterday to me too that my IP was blocked and couldn't access anything. Most likely Mr. Scott reads this thread, nonetheless I write to him a message.

Hi Lilou,

Try clearing your browser's cache then logging in again using this link. If that doesn't work, try using a proxy server.

Yep- I tried all that, except the proxy server. It must not be my laptop, because it times out on all the computers in the house. I tried 3 different ones. I will ask my computer geek friend if he has any clues as to the cause. Using this iPhone is getting old real fast!

It's pretty fast from my end, so perhaps something at your end.

Yes, this turned out to be a local problem at the conference I am attending. It doesn't even work for the presenters.
