Cassiopedia

Cassiopedia doesn't work anymore for a while now, and I've notified the mods to change the links.

We have a new information resource that we are working on: CassWiki.

Organizing information can be done in several complementary ways. The goal of this project is to integrate these, and to take them all further than has been done in earlier efforts.

The reader is to be given a quick guide to each subject, so as to have the means to quickly get up to speed. In part, this is done by writing concise articles in a style similar to that of the old Esoteric Glossary (which forum members will be familiar with). In part, it is done by collecting links to various resources – important forum posts, SOTT articles, videos and interviews, and any other relevant information.

Compared to the old Esoteric Glossary, the focus is broader, reflecting the focus of the Cassiopaea Forum over the last years. Newer subjects extensively explored (and well-worthy of coverage) include matters of health and diet, cognitive psychology, neuroscience, and more.

Another way to help people to get up to speed quickly is to summarize resources that are useful but time-consuming to peruse, such as books and lengthy forum threads. Other kinds of extra materials, like longer, in-depth articles, can also be written on this wiki.

In addition, articles can be extended with collections of useful quotes, within the limits of fair use.

Cool.

I wonder if old Enpsychopedia will also be integrated into this?

Presently, this project is far from complete, but I think already a useful resource. To explore it, you can search and/or go to the "Browse" page, where you can access a collection of article series. A more complete description of the goal of the project can be read on the "About" page.

Actually, in part, it already is - and there's even been some improvement on that content. On the Browse page, you'll find an entry for "Ponerology and psychopathy". In that article series, you'll find pretty much everything on ponerology from the old Enpsychopedia. Most of those articles have been polished, and the shortest ones significantly expanded. That's not to say they're perfect, but it's one step to more complete coverage.

What we don't have from the Enpsychopedia is:
  • Articles on the Theory of Positive Disintegration. That's worth covering, and planned. But it's hard to say how many of the Enpsychopedia articles will be used. Many of them simply copied the very short definition of the term in question which Dabrowski provided in his glossary.
  • Articles on particular online predators. While that can be a good resource to provide, it's outside the scope of CassWiki. Some article which covers online predation in general is however a possible future addition.
  • Reposted articles on health and psychology from all manner of news sites. Instead of doing that, for CassWiki the idea is to just add a collection of relevant external links at the end of each topic covered.

Roughly, here's where things are currently at. Most of the Esoteric Glossary contents are in place. For Enpsychopedia, see above. In both cases, some pages have been polished, some more extensively revised. There's also a few completely new pages on subjects related to those of the Esoteric Glossary - for example, Cryptogeographic being and Strategic enclosure. Also, we've begun covering books - eventually it would be possible to make a wiki version of the recommended books list, with pages more extensive than the footnotes in the current forum thread.

Note that content organization is still a bit rough, and things may change over time. The way articles are grouped into article series can change - both on the larger scale (as seen on the Browse page) and on the smaller. On the smaller scale, an example is that there's currently two articles on psychopathy. The one named "Psychopathy" is from the Esoteric Glossary, while the one named "Psychopathy (ponerology)" is Laura's huge article from the Enpsychopedia. Eventually, it may make sense to make an article series on psychopathy, where the content from those articles (along with new content) is redistributed across several pages - and have a main psychopathy article which gives a briefer summary of everything and links to the more detailed sub-articles.

Thank you Psalehesost. Yes, it does need some work on content organization, but the project looks very promising. :)

To start with, maybe you could start a thread here in this forum to discuss what you would be planning to do.

I would like to create a drafts about William J. Baldwin and Karla Turner because there's no Wikipedia articles about them.

List of Sott Radio podcast because this very handy list doesn't work anymore.
List of documentary films about very important subjects.
List of all Laura interviews (audio, video, text).

The new archive replaces the one you linked: https://radio.sott.net/#archive
There's few podcasts that are not listed in this list.
The Cassiopaean Experiment Pt 2
Reincarnation Part 2
Channeling and Exorcism Pt 2
The Media Part 2
Top Secret Military Projects Part 2
Who are the Ummites? Part 2
Counter-Intelligence and the 9/11 Movement - Part 2
Counter-Intelligence and the 9/11 Movement - Part 4
One Degree At A Time - Part 2
It would be good to have something that when you type in search engine "sott podcast list" it will appear in the first place. Even if I type "sott radio podcast archive" it still hard to find this site.

This is a bug in the listing. I will fix it within a couple of days. Thanks for reporting!

Meanwhile, you can find all of the shows (including the ones you listed) on Sott.net via its search function. The audio files should be correctly linked there.
