Celtic Folk Soul by Jen Delyth

Tomorrow early in the morning i opened my windows at their widest for the first time to hear approaching steps of couple of friends whom i was expecting quite impatiently to come. They didn't show up, well, may be they took other route and will come later on. With windows wide open birds did show up and the whole morning i was listening to their singing. Then i went to a post office to pick up the last batch with books. One of them dropped on the floor as i returned home, i uppacked it, then it dropped again, opening on page 205:

The Song of Wandering Aengus

I went out yo the hazel wood,
Because a fire was in my head,
And cut and peled a hazel wand,
And hooked a berry to a thread,

And when white mothswere on the wing,
And moth-like stars were flickering out,
I dropped the berry in a stream
A caught a little silver trout.

When I had laid it on the floor
I went to blow the fire a-flame,
but something rustled on the floor,
And someone called me by my name:
It had become a glimmering girl
With apple blossom in her hair
Who called me by my name and ran
And faded through the brightening air.

Through I am old with wandering
THrough hollow lands are hilly lands,
I will find out where she has gone,
And kiss her lips and take her hands,
And walk among long dappled grass,
And pluck till time and times are done
The silver apples of the moon,
The golden apples of the sun.

I liked that song from the very first lines of it, it came from the Celtic Folk Soul Art Myth & Symbol by Jen Delyth
I just received couple of minutes ago it so it isn't any 'review'. From the first sight book is wonderfully illustrated with Celtic triskele, and
folk motives. later i may write a review on it.

Who likes listening to birds singing, may look into fig 6, page 38 of Von Franz's Alchemy: An Introduction to the Symbolism and the Psychology (Chapter one, her insight what the ultimate Truth might be).

Ather books i would recommend are two by Michael Meade:
The Water of Life (initiation path, group work) which i read five stars: ordered the second one: The world behind the world, which arrived today.

For those interested in psychopathy:
The Mark of Cain by Reid Meloy (psychoanalytical understanding of psychopath mind) seems worth money, should white a review later on
Handbook of Psychopathy by Christopher Patrick - looks like good investment, similar in style to Blair's Psychopath: Emotions and Brain.

I was listening

Oh! a beautiful finding!
Heu... you picked up my imagination with this:

Is there any possibility to see it elsewhere? :halo:
