Chakra dream

Here's another of the series of experiences, let's call them dreams, that so many people here have been writing about lately.

This happened to me a few weeks ago. While sleeping one night I seemed to be in touch with something higher and familiar and positive, for want of any better way to say it. I felt comfortable there, and seemed to be present at or listening to some session or information. This went on for some time. Then without any warning I felt what I can only describe as my crown chakra being slammed shut - though there must be another way to say that.

It was painful, made a popping sound, and was instantly the end of that learning session, or whatever it was. I "turned" or directed my attention around above me and saw a "friend" / co-worker there, standing with a kind of smirk on his face at having shut the door on me. It was very disturbing to see him there.

Am posting because I'd like to hear your thoughts on this episode. I've seen that some have had similar experiences with people you interact with on a regular basis and am learning of the cautions that are part of the process of learning itself. I mentioned this to another acquaintance who said sometime friends are agents. Maybe I just need new friends!

Interesting. I would think that this would probably be a sign that this person is a negative influence in your life and perhaps could prevent spiritual growth. This all said without knowing how anything else but the dream detail.

Even with dream details, it is, perhaps not much of a help trying to logically or otherwise interpret the dream.
I think only the person having the dream can know it, feel it, read it.

Even so.. It might all be some easy 'creation'. who knows from (where)? subconscious, entities, 'weird' stuff, etc..

They are all very interesting, but not to be relayed on, IMO.

And one might want to try to view the oposite to what the dream conveyed.

I would caution OneSoul from taking a dream like this too literally, as dreams are usually highly symbolic in nature. The friend/co-worker could simply be a symbolic representation of something or someone else. What he symbolises can really only be uncovered by the dreamer himself, who knows what kind things he associates with the person. For instance, he may simply symbolize "work" and how the daily grind of making a living can interfere with one's spiritual pursuits. He may share a specific activity with the dreamer, and thus symbolize that activity; and it is the activity itself that is interfering with the dreamer's spiritual development (say, drinking, or too much "gaming", or indulging in "gossip"). Or, the dreamer may have an identical or similar name to someone else that is having a negative effect on his life, but which he cannot directly face right now (e.g. the friend/co-worker is named "Tom" and the dreamer's brother is also named "Tom", and there's something about his relationship with his brother that is negatively influencing him right now). The possible interpretations are endless....
