It will interesting to see how the warmists will try to regrain their ground and bounce back from this.

Anyone heard what good ole Al Gore is up to?
 
I have to admit to getting a kick out of this whole deal, it's the first real example of one of their little devious house of cards collapsing. Of course, the suggestion that we might have had something to do with it is even better! I wonder what else we're capable of? :D
 
And even after reading this kind of statement people will still hang onto the global warming theory.
 
If in a couple of years global warming is accepted by everyone as being false, the oil corporations might use this opportunity to start drilling the North Pole.
No wonder Russia, the US, Canada, Norway, Denmark and other countries have been all "fighting" lately, trying to get a slice of the pie (pole).

I don't think we have too much to worry about in that regard. Based on observation, the planet (and solar system) has its own plans ...
 
What concerns me is the whole elimination of conventional light bulbs in favor of those mercury laden fluorescent ones which I believe someone indicated are already legislated but waiting to be rolled out. I think this and other financial windfall issues are the real reasons the PTB are fighting so hard to keep the global warming myth alive. I've always hated those fluorescent bulbs even before I knew how hazardous they are! And who knows what other costly changes and penalties await us for not embracing the whole green, save the planet from global warming agenda that's been in the works all along? Although sudden glacial rebound would most certainly halt these actions, that's a really tough way to make it stop! And are we currently getting a snowy preview of this possible reality?

Indeed. I wonder if the reason behind the race for the North Pole is really control of the oil fields.
 
Last November and December the Finnish TV-broadcasting company YLE aired two documentaries done by the same team (MOT) presenting a critical analysis on this GW hysteria. I had the chance to see them on the net (YLE keeps them available for a few weeks after the programs have been aired) and I thought that they were pretty nicely done. The basic facts are presented in a way that is easy to understand and a lot of experts are interviewed.

Today I did a search on the net and to my surprise I found both documentaries with English subtitles! Seems that there are good people elsewhere too ;)

So anyway, if someone is interested in getting up to speed with the basics of the whole thing I really recommend watching these. I have to admit that I haven't checked the subtitles all the way, but based on the snippets I watched I would say that they are accurate.
