Climatological Pension Fund

A Disturbance in the Force
Dear fellow earthlings,

I admire your endeavours for making this planet a better place to live in and I venture an idea that might enable you to conspicuously walk your talk.

After reading _http://www.biodieselmagazine.com/article.jsp?article_id=1910 I got a crazy idea and I appeal to your common sense to act on it.

I suddenly imagined a world full of algal cultures eating away all the CO2 that Al Gore professes to reduce anyway. And having biodiesel, cattle feed, fertilizer and biomass as a boon. It sounds like the ultimate green and sustainable investment. And a pension fund that cannot fail.

I suggest that we consider investing the pension funds that our organisations set up for us in algal culture and thus set an example for organisations and institutions world wide. At the same time this might give a handsome return on investment and makes it more likely that we 'll have a planet to enjoy our pension on.

So please tell me: Am I mad?? Or can we discuss this in earnest?

Amazingly yours,

Planneman
