Color and Food

Does anyone feel as I do about the various colors food possesses and utilizing that as a strengthening when a weak point occurs in your life.
For example:
If I am feeling disconnected with Earth- my root chakra -the color red- I eat lots of red colored veggies. (NO FOOD COLOR CHEMISTRY, PLEASE!)

No. Generally, when I feel disconnected with Earth, I go out and rub my hands in the mud. If there's no mud, I go out and get a chair and sit in the yard. Being winter, there's a snow shovel to pick through to find the dirt.

Sometimes its just that simple.

Yes, that too, but I was talking about food, do you eat the dirt?

When I fall on my face, sometimes. ;)

As a rule, food cravings, in my case, have to do with low vitamins or minerals. I've never had any cravings tied to my chakras.

Try it, sometime, it has been a suprising elevation of the energetic sort, a bigger smile, less effort to walk, even if I am imagining it, the results are there, so, who's to blame the one who pretends to be something long enough and he becomes the very same thing he was pretending to be

What is it that your suggesting to try? Connecting food cravings to a chakra? Sounds like an exercise in subjectivity to me.

Sooner or later wishful thinking and subjectivity will have an impact, and it usually isn't pretty when it builds to the point that it collapses in on itself. Better to utilize what we can know and use to help our bodies function in a healthy way rather than imagine it so. Pretending, as a long term strategy doesn't work so well. Pretending served us well in helping to learn and imitate as children, but as adults when you have responsibilities, it is a disservice to yourself and others if they are involved.

Ouch, Shane, more gently please, and please read my first post. It is a question not a statement. Do you know everything there is to know or are you simply trying to make me doubt your integrity. Gently please,
I never spoke of food cravings. Why has this become an issue all of the sudden?
Am I the issue?
My grandma use to say: if you want honey make like the treebranch in a gentle breeze and the bees wont sting you.
Here is what I believe:
Food is energy- everyone knows that
Color in food is particulated Energy.
We ingest not only with our mouth.
You would benefit from doing a bit of research before you go and carelessly headbuck anything because you think you are allowed to.
No you are not allowed.
Be gentle, it will be more acceptable.
I respect your opinions, Thank you for your input.

Well, I never thought about it that way but maybe, as suggested, when you are feeling disconnected with Earth, you are low in some mineral or whatever, and eating according to color makes the adjustment for you. Red colored foods have certain phytonutrients that are very good for detoxification so that could be what is going on. It's an interesting idea.

okay dokey.

When I'm not feeling grounded, fats, in particular animal fats, help me quite a bit. That isn't having to do with color, I don't think, but fats do have a heavy/base quality to them. The info about phytonutrients is interesting to consider in relation to root veggies as well.

But interstingly enough fat resonates in the red spectrum, why, I have no idea, ask Ark about it.
